Bed was comfy

Room on roadside, if window open, a bit noisy, closed window stufffy room. Good in Winter!

I stayed for just two nights but was very happy. The owner is very nice and the dinner was lovely. Great value for money and a big parking place just on the other side of the street.

Handy for a walk into town

Rooms very basic and 2 x2 bedded room too small for 4 people. Hardly any room to move around. No fridge or safe. No-one on reception when we arrived- had to ring the owner to tell us how to get into our room.

it would have been nice to have had a hairdryer in the room.

The hotel is right on the main road so it was quite noisy because of the traffic.

Beds were comfortable & the breakfast was ok

On arrival everywhere was Locked, we tried the available phone no’s but couldn’t get connected so very off putting from the start. We spilt a small amount of water on the floor & when we wiped it up with tissue it was filthy it didn’t seem the floors had been cleaned for a while. This experience has actually made us lose confidence in bookings.com as the description on your site & the photos are inaccurate & completely misleading & totally not how this hotel looks in reality. ie ashtrays full of cigarette ends on the out side tables no headboards on the beds (as shown in your photo) no curtains on the bedroom window, toilet seat broken & no mention of the very steep semi spiral staircase & as previously mentioned hotel totally locked up on arrival. Not a hotel we would personally ever return to and we would strongly suggest you verify the current condition of the property, including the means of communication on arrival, prior to promoting it further on your website.
