A great spot for a holiday as it is located quite close to the waterfront. We had a nice garden unit so we could sit out the front and look at the trees. A short walk(although up a hill!) to the RSL club for dinner with great views.

Could do with a bit of updating in the interior décor department, but overall quite comfortable.

The water flow from shower was inadequate.

Pleasant enough stay. Liked the building, was clean. Greeting was friendly.

In need of a new Kettle in the room or it needs a clean/descale. The water pressure in the shower was terrible. A new building across the road blocks the view, but obviously nothing can be done about that, what a shame.

The hot water outlet is too small, very small

this place was a surprise, huge apartment with everything you needed , well maintained and presented, would definitely recommend

We love southern Tasmania and have stayed at the Smugglers Rest on a number of occasions over the years. Irene is so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Crisp sheets and cosy bedding. A great location - close to jetty, town beach, short walk to shops and dining options. A full kitchen meant we could eat at home on some nights and start the days without a scramble. Reverse cycle keeps the property warm.

Loved all of it

Lovely cottage with very tasteful decor. Large space and comfortable. Could have stayed more than 1 night. RSL/Bowls Club was walking distance for dinner though need to book ahead.

No cereal bowls in the kitchen. We used the over-sized mugs.

Clean, comfy bed, good facilities, cute garden.

Door didn't lock at all, shower was unpredictable.

The host was very kind and upgraded us to a sea view without extra cost. Very approachable and helpful
