Cabin on steroids - new, clean, but maintains the feel of an old seaside summer cabin. Sitting on the deck, sipping a beverage, watching the tide go in and out - just what we needed.

This was our first visit to Caleb's Cottage and we were so thrilled to pull up and see the house we had hoped for was really ours for a few days! The bedrooms were comfortable, the kitchen was well furnished as was the laundry room. Sitting on the porch with a mug of coffee was the best! So close to Acadia- some trails within walking distance. We love to come back.

Our family really enjoyed staying at Caleb's Cottage. It was comfortable, spacious, and had all the comforts of home. The view from the lovely front porch is beautiful and we loved drinking our coffee in the morning and gathering there to relax after our day exploring Acadia National Park. As seniors we were able to walk from the cottage to "Flying Mountain" where we hiked to the top and back. This property is only about a 20-minute drive to Bar Harbor and other scenic spots in Acadia National Park. We had a great stay!

This was our 2nd time visiting Caleb's Cottage and the 2nd time that our family loved out stay. Our sons *(7 & 2) loved having access to the water using the dock and kayak's that we had rented. The house is very comfortable and has allowed our family to create wonderful memories. Being so close to Flying Mountain, the Causeway Club and the new Mini Golf course made the week even better.

This is our 3rd time staying here. Our family loves it! Looking out at the cove is so beautiful and peaceful. We hike, we rent a kayak for the week, we go to Echo Lake, we enjoy dinner at the Little Fern restaurant at the Clairmont Hotel. We played 9 holes of golf this year at the club down the street. Lots of hiking within walking distance from the cottage.
The cottage is very clean and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need. The pictures are exactly how the cottage looks - beautiful.

Everything was great. Such a warm and homey feel. The only downside is the front steps are very slippery in the morning. Warn others to be careful as I slipped and fell down the steps

This was our first time to Maine and Acadia, it is difficult to select lodging on line. We were very pleased. The house was spacious and comfortable and had everything that we needed. We were also pleased that the location was near so many of the attractions we wanted to see, but far enough away that it was peaceful and relaxing when we returned to the house. I will definitely miss drinking my morning tea on that beautiful porch watching the birds and seals in the bay. We definitely plan on returning.

Another Great Stay at Caleb's Cottage
This is our second time staying at Caleb's Cottage. The cottage is clean and comfortable. The view and location is amazing! My husband and I and our three teenage children all enjoyed our vacation - the close proximity to Southwest Harbor, ANP, and Flying Mountain!

Amazing
This is the 2nd time we stayed at Caleb's Cottage. The 1st time was last fall for a few days. This time we stayed for a week with family. The week was so wonderful that we plan to return next June.
The cottage is lovely and has everything you need. The kitchen is the best equipped kitchen of any rental I have booked in the past.
The view is amazing and just like the pictures online. It is a very peaceful area. We rented a double kayak for the week which I would highly recommend.
Ben is wonderful to work with. Thanks for sharing your cottage with us again.

Lovely Vacation
We had a lovely time staying at this quiet, clean, spacious cabin. We spent time looking for shells, enjoyed the beautiful sky, and it was easy to get around on the island from this location. It was also the most well stocked rental I've ever stayed at!

Very special place
What a beautiful and peaceful spot! Being able to look out at the ocean every day is always special. We were able to walk to a couple trail heads in Acadia right from the cottage. You can fish right from the dock in front of cottage. Very clean, lots of room, kitchen has everything you need and the front porch is a great place to eat your meals. Ben was easy to work with. We will definitely be back.

A beautiful, private location
This cottage setting is peaceful, tucked away on a dead end gravel road overlooking the harbor. We watched eagles, loons and herons from the front porch. A perfect place to relax and take in the beauty of Maine.

We had a wonderful vacation at Caleb's Cottage. The cottage was clean, comfortable and perfect for our family of five. The bed's are comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. The location is excellent with easy access to Southwest Harbor and an Acadia trailhead, Flying Mountain.

Southwest Harbor Cottage
This cottage is ideally located in a private cove in Southwest Harbor. There was plenty of room for five adults and two small children. The cottage was extremely well supplied and the online descriptions are completely accurate. We would highly recommend this property.

Wonderful property!
My family LOVED staying at this house. The adults enjoyed early mornings and evenings on the porch and the kids loved being on the water. The house was spotless and spacious and close to groceries. It was a perfect home-base for hiking in Acadia. We look forward to returning!

Lovely location and wonderful, homey "cottage".
Caleb's Cottage was a great place for our little family reunion, post-pandemic. We were a group of six adults, who enjoyed cooking in the spacious kitchen. Acadia National Park is about 20 minutes away. We brought picnic lunches and also ate out after hiking, biking, rock climbing and hanging out at Sand Beach. The pier was the perfect spot to view a full moon. Some of us hiked the local trails not far from the cottage, that Ben recommended . We now have treasured memories of our first visit. We highly recommend it!

Large, open, cozy cottage in quiet area
Our family enjoyed our stay at this oceanfront cottage. There is a large kitchen with everything you'd need to make your own meals and table is perfect for family games. We preferred this location vs busy Bar Harbor. The only negative was the staircase was super creaky/noisy and anyone going up/down late at night or early morning woke other family members.

Family Vacation
We brought our teenagers and 70+ year old parents. Everyone enjoyed the cottage. The porch, harbor views, pier, and space for everyone to spread out made it a wonderful vacation for all.

Relaxing, quiet, magnificent view
The property and house were as pictured and promised. If you are looking for a quiet getaway with family, kids included, this is a great place to stay. If you are planning to stay during off peak season, plan on cooking as there are very few restaurants open. However, the house is fully stocked with all the tools, utensils, dinnerware needs to prepare complete meals. Overall, a great stay! Thank you!

Fun family getaway
Beautiful location, fully equipment with everything needed for a fun visit with our family. The dock was a great addition to the beautiful setting. Kitchen was more then equipped with all the needed equipment to make meals and hang out. Bedrooms and bathroom were neat and clean with plenty of linens and towels. Would love to go back!

Best location and beautiful view
Most beautiful location. Loved having access to the dock. The house has everything you need especially lots of kid friendly toys and games. The beds are very soft, so if you like a firmer bed, you need to know!

Great home for a family getaway!
Caleb’s Cottage was a perfect getaway for our family! The house was spotlessly clean. The kitchen appliances, outdoor grill and laundry room had everything we needed. We appreciated the quick replies to any questions we had.
We especially enjoyed sitting on the front porch, sipping coffee in the early morning, watching the seals in the harbor and the eagles flying overhead. The children spent hours fishing off the dock and looking for critters at low tide.
It’s in a quiet location, on the water, only a five minute drive to the main part of Southwest Harbor and a short drive to Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park and its many hiking trails.
We definitely plan on staying here again in the future. Thanks, Ben, for allowing us to experience such a memorable week!

Had a great week stay in the cottage with our family of 4 plus my Mom. Location is very central yet out of the way and the waterfront is excellent. House is roomy and comfortable; great for family visits.

Magical MDI stay
My family of four (plus one grandma) had the best week at Caleb’s Cottage. The house was very spacious, comfortable and clean. The location was terrific and the view and recreation off the dock were perfect.

Great location!
Perfect private spot with beautiful views but conveniently close to southwest harbor. Great place to kayak and see wildlife including seals, otters and loons. I had never heard a loon call before and it was beautiful! House clean and well stocked with everything you will need. It was spacious and very comfortable for our group of 6. We look forward to returning!

Peaceful getaway
“Peaceful” was my 8yos word to describe the house and it’s location and I agreed. Perfect setting to wake up and enjoy a cup of coffee on the deck with a fantastic view.. and then the same in the evening to end the day. Amazing location and only a short drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Our refund was returned promptly. We will definitely be staying here again so we can explore even more of this amazing area. Thank you!!

Beautiful location, well-stocked place!
We (6 friends - 3 couples) had a lovely time at Caleb's cottage this fall! The location is simply gorgeous, with amazing views and reflections of the sunrise and sunset on the water. The weather was a bit chilly, which made the fireplace inviting, and the kitchen has all of the cookware and dishes you might need! Ben was also incredibly helpful throughout the process.
We were in town to run the MDI races and were able to walk home from the finish line (around 35 min walk) to freshen up. A wonderful visit overall!

Just as described
Our family of 5 spent a week in the Cottage and it did not disappoint. Great location, quiet and relaxing. Kids enjoyed combing the beach every day and walking to the St. Sauveur trail system. Even though we had zero problems, the owner was responsive to our couple questions. We would definitely stay again.

It’s a beautiful house with generous proportions. The dock is perfect for a boating family.
Large rooms and high ceilings give a spatious and open feeling, all in light pine. Conner Point is very quiet and the view across the harbor is hard to beat. The long dock prevents the usual steep ramp at low tide, though the float is on mud at extreme low tide.
