Very clean. Location great. Bed was excellent, pillows even better. Kitchen and Bathroom great.

Chesterfield was so uncomfortable. I think a refurb is a little needed. Breakfast was average.

Location and serenity

No wardrobes, the fireplace was in dining area, they should have the lounge near the fireplace and the dining table near the kitchen.

A clean, comfortable, and homely cottage with everything we expected and some thoughtful touches that really made us feel welcome. The view was really beautiful and great location. Highly recommended

It would have been lovely to have a table outside on the back deck to enjoy a sunny breakfast. The soap needed some soap dishes. The fire place could have used a dust pan and brush to get rid of the ashes so it burned better on the second evening. *There is reverse cycle air con but we didn't use this for heat, and there was a heater in our room which worked great. The pillows were a little big for us but we both slept well.

Location is amazing. The cottage is lovely and the bed is so comfy!!

The wine fridge made a snap/pop noise constantly.

So peaceful and relaxing, the views were great and the staff were very friendly. Montville is such a beautiful place and wish we could have stayed longer.

There was a mix up in my initial booking, all my fault, I had intended to book the property with three bedrooms but on arrival it was pointed out that I had only selected two (our party consisted of one couple and one mother and her young adult son), the property offered us the use of the third bedroom for an additional $100 per night, a total of $400 extra for our four night stay which seems excessive for what would have amounted to changing linen and making one extra bed, and, cleaning an extra room on our leaving, if I had realised this, and again it was my fault, I would not have selected this property. The breakfast provisions provided were pretty inadequate for four adults staying for four days, one freshly baked loaf of bread, two dozen eggs and 2 L milk, there was a small resealable jar that had some muesli mix, some pats of butter and a few small individual packs of jams etc, juice was available in the fridge but was an extra charge, not the “Fabulous” breakfast indicated in the booking site.

Breakfast items were supplied to prepare ourselves and were of good quality
