Room was lovely, staff friendly, very clean

All of the staff we encountered were pleasant and very helpful. Rebecca of front of house felt like an old friend after a short time. The Higher Buck is a lovely pub in a great location.

Location was good ( it helped my partner who had mobility issues) Comfortable beds We stayed in the cottage room

Could not open WiFi (not sure if it was my fault ) You need maintenance to look at slow emptying shower waste (tray fills up )

All food we had here was to a really great level, locally sourced and of a good quantity

Lovely room, clean and comfortable.

Arrived at the property wanting lunch but were informed that the chef had finished till 5.30pm - spent the next 45 minutes ringing around trying to find a pub that was still serving food. We went out that evening and on our return went into the pub for a drink as we noted people outside still drinking. We we informed that the bar was closed at 10.25pm even to residents. So apart from breakfast we never had the opportunity to eat or drink there which was a disappointment.
