Beautiful neighborhood. House is adorable. Shawn was very much a great host. What little inconveniences were addressed right away. All in all a great place to come too. Will come again.

The house was as expected. The home is in a nice quit neighborhood with a private backyard that we and our dog enjoyed very much. We had a couple questions and found the owner to be very responsive.

We had a wonderful stay here! Close walk to the beach, quiet neighborhood, and lots of ice cream right around the corner! Shaun was very informative and communicative, which I appreciated very much. Being able to bring our dog with us on this trip was also a big treat, so big thanks to Shaun for allowing this property to be pet friendly. Would book again!

We often come back when we visit Maine. Everything is close, the house is comfy, and the neighborhood is friendly and quiet.

The cottage was well equipped and loved that we were able to check in so early. We enjoyed early morning walks on the beach with our dog. Several of our family members were here the same week and we had a little gathering on the beautiful front porch. Would recommend this place for families who like peace and quiet.

We loved the location of this property. Very quiet neighborhood. Fully stocked kitchen. Close walk to the beach which I did every morning with the dog. Short drive to Ogunquit, Kennebunk Port and many other points of interest. Perfect for families with dogs. We adored the sunny front porch with lots of windows and space were we had our diners and relaxed to the cool ocean air breeze. The owner clearly takes great care of the property and its renters. First the pros: easy to get to off Route 1 and beach is a mile away. Was immaculate when we arrived and had all the basics. Air conditioning was definitely welcome as there were one or 2 very hot days. The cons: in

Family and pet friendly cottage on a very nice, quiet street. Cottage is close enough to wonderful beaches, restaurants, places of interest etc, yet far enough to enjoy some peace and quiet too. Having A/C, cable, wifi and a washer/dryer are all a big plus. Lots to do and see in the area!

Loved the location of this property. Close walk to a lovely beach. Short drive to many points of interest. Quiet street. Perfect for families. Sunny front room with lots of windows and space made for a perfect gathering place to dine, play games, do crafts and puzzles. Great memories were made this vacation!

We had a great time in this charming, quiet, relaxing home. We'd love to stay here again. It's close to everything, yet just far enough off the main road that you don't even know there's traffic. Beaches are close enough to walk to if you're up to it. And it's easy to get hooked on the ice cream shop just up the street. All in all a great place to stay!

This cottage is close to all your favorite places: Wells, Ogunquit, Drakes Island, York, Kennebunk Port, etc! We loved that we could bring our little rescue dog because she is not ready for a kennel stay. All beaches except Ogunquit allow dogs on leashes after hours and before prime hours in the a.m. AC worked great and we were able to do our wash in the cottage and hang on the line without going to a laundromat! We cooked a few meals on the grill outside but enjoyed the great seafood establishments in the area. At night we walked to the beach which was only about 15 minutes away. Quiet area at night and friendly neighbors added to our wonderful stay! Thank you Shawn.

This was our first time staying in Wells and it was wonderful. The house is close to the beach, shopping, mini golf/arcades, and the Wells Harbor. The Trolley stop was just up road so that you could go to Ogunquit or Kittery without having to drive yourself, and the Scoop Deck Ice Cream shop is right up the road (GREAT ice cream - amazing flavors). The Lobster Pound is also within walking distance and the food was great. The house was extremely clean and well kept. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen, while a bit small for our family, was well stocked. Central air had been added, which helped immensely as the weather was very warm. The neighborhood is very quiet and the neighbors are welcoming. We were able to ride our bikes nightly and we took the dog for long walks on the back streets to the beach. Overall a great time.

We had a lovely, stress- free week in this charming quiet neighborhood. The cottage had all that was promised and more. Clean, well maintained and had plenty of room for us and our dog. 15 minute walk to the beach. Close to restaurants and shopping. Owner was very receptive and answered any questions or needs promptly. Would recommend staying at "Marys Maine" for a relaxing vacation anytime.

We enjoyed a week of peace and joy when we and our children stayed in this quaint cottage in late July. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom good sized and the yard spacious. Most of all, we loved the screened in porch and ate every meal at the table there. The breeze was constantly refreshing as we shared meals and played games around the table. Fans were available but we found we didn't need them in coastal southern Maine. It was a welcome, cool and comfortable break from Texas July heat. When we left, we suggested a small microwave would be convenient for heating coffee or simple meals and Shaun was very responsive to our request. We highly recommend this cottage for a peaceful, active stay away from home. We loved it.

The owner is pleasant but the cottage was different than advertised. It says that it sleeps 6 - not. It says that there is a queen size bed - actually it's not a queen, it's a full. You think you'll have TV, no. But there is a TV that you can use if you rent DVD's, but you won't have access to television. The place was boiling hot, no A/C and we couldn't open windows because there were holes in screens and mosquitoes were coming in. Heat was coming through heater during the heat wave - it was cooler outside! Pretty little cottage but I wouldn't recommend it.

We had a great time staying in this charming cozy cottage.The amenities were more than enough for us.The place was clean,nice back yard. It was nice sitting on the front porch at night.Very convenient being close to rt 1 with great stores and restaurants! The beach was closer than we thought and was beautiful..We were very happy with our stay,and would rent again. L & C Jones

I enjoyed my stay at this cottage. Not far from the beach. Located in a quiet setting, the cottage provided me with what I was looking for. My husband and I stayed at this cottage this past summer. The cottage was adequate for our needs. It is centrally located in a quiet neighborhood, yet close to Route 1 and about a mile from the ocean. We did find some issues with the property, such as there was no microwave, no toaster, no air conditioning, a television - but no cable. When we arrived on Saturday, the lawn looked like it hadn't been mowed for a few weeks and the house had a stale, musty odor. We also encountered some problems with the property owner, both before and during our stay. He never sent receipts for the deposit or the remaining balance, and since his only accepted method of payment was by bank check, we didn't know whether or not he had received our checks. He also did not provide us with a signed copy of the rental agreement. We had to continuously contact him by email or phone to get any information from him. When we spoke with him, his attitude was rude and condescending. We called him when we arrived to complain about the condition of the lawn and to ask what was wrong with the TV. That was when he told us that there was no cable service, but there was a DVD player and we could rent movies at Redbox. He spoke rudely at this time also. After our stay, we had to contact him once again to request that our security deposit be returned to us, and at that time he accused us of causing damage to the cottage, and threatened to withhold some of the deposit. When we advised him that we had not caused the damage, and that, in fact, we had left the cottage in better condition than it was when we arrived and had pictures to prove it, he returned the full security deposit to us. We would not rent this property again, nor would we recommend it to a friend or relative as we would not want anyone to be subjected to the owner's poor customer service skills. We did make the most of our week in Wells, and enjoyed the beach and the many area attractions. We will definitely return to the area, but will find another place to stay.

Cute little cottage on quiet street, loved sitting out on the porch. Very close to beaches, restaurants and of course the famous Ice Cream, the Scoop Deck. Was allowed to bring my dog and she loved going to the beach at night because dogs are allowed on Wells beaches after 6pm.
