My wife and I stayed here for our 25th anniversary. This property was everything we were hoping for, and then some. The location, decor, Jasper the cat, the Spanish moss, etc….I could go on and on. This was our first trip to Savannah, and certainly won’t be our last. We would absolute stay here again and again. We just loved it!

We loved it here. We've been using VRBO for twelve years. This was one of the best houses we've stayed in. The last place we stayed didn't have anything, not even salt and pepper. This kitchen was stocked with coffee, sugar, oil, spices, an assortment of pots and pans, silverware, dinnerware, a dishwasher, toilet paper, towels for two weeks, a coffee maker, and one and a half bathrooms. Everything was lovely: the decorations, furniture, size of the property, bathrooms, and surroundings. We thought it would be smaller from the reviews, but it was very spacious. We didn't run out of anything, not even toilet paper or dishwashing liquid. And it's like living in the Amazon when you look out the windows, lush trees, green everywhere. Patsi and Brian were very helpful. Patsi even gave us names where we could rent a fishing boat. It was a 15-minute drive to Savannah or Tybee Island. Lots of things to do and see. We saw historic plantations and churches, drove to Hilton Head and Charleston, South Carolina, chillaxed, and watched TV. Since we live in rural Maryland, we ate out most of the time. Everything was at your fingertips. If we ever plan another visit to Georgia, we'll stay here!

My husband and I stayed at the boathouse for a week and absolutely loved it! The property is so gorgeous it was hard to leave sometimes! The boathouse was super clean, nicely appointed and is perfectly located between downtown Savannah and Tybee Island, took a little less then 15 minutes to get to each. Loved seeing Jasper the cat everyday too! We definitely recommend staying here and would book this home again!

The Boathouse is very clean, well stocked with dishes, towels, bedding, and toiletries. The location is close to restaurants and stores. We loved the private dock and went every day except the day it rained. We felt safe the whole time. Communication with the owner was great.

Great quiet house, 10 minutes from Savanah and 10 minutes from Tybee Island.

The boathouse was lovely and fully equipped! Patsi and Brian were awesome hosts and we loved the resident kitty "Jasper". We would definitely rent this lovely property again.

This Boathouse was a great place! It is clean and well decorated. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed Jasper, the cat. He was always waiting for us to come out and visit. This location is conveniently located between downtown Savannah and Tybee Beach (15 minutes to either place). The owners were informative and easy to reach. We definitely recommend staying here!

The owners were so sweet and quick to respond to any questions we had. They had an easy check in and out process and the home was BEAUTIFUL! We loved every minute of our stay and didn’t want to leave. We will for sure be back!

From the moment we drove up the tree lined driveway and we’re greeted by Patsi and Brian we knew this property would not disappoint. The grounds were lush and private with romantic and beautiful plants. The dock was gorgeous and a perfect place to relax and end our day. Our 2nd trip to this lovely Boathouse! Beautiful, comfortable and spotless!

The house is very beautiful, private, and cozy. We had everything we needed and Patricia and Bryan were very communicative and helpful. I already have friends asking for this listing and we would stay there again in a heartbeat. The grounds are so gorgeous as well. it looks like something out of a Fairytale story.

The host was super friendly and check in was a breeze. Me and my really enjoyed our quite stay only minutes from downtown.

Charming little house tucked into a shady pocket of beautiful old trees dripping with Spanish moss. The owners are kind and responsive, and there's a sweet tomcat named Jasper who drops by the house for frequent visits. Everything was clean and visually pleasing, and though there are houses nearby, the property offers lots of privacy by way of fences and various plants. We loved this house and the accessible dock, and would highly recommend for a calm, relaxing stay. Easy driving distance to Savannah or Tybee Island. Safe, quiet neighborhood. Great all around!

The location of the boathouse is very peaceful and is located between Savannah and Tybee Island. The boathouse was very welcoming and we felt right at home. Brian and Pat were great hosts and put so many details into the boathouse to make sure you felt welcome from lights and soft music playing when you first walked in to frosted beer glasses in the freezer. The king sized bed was so comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

The owners were so warm and inviting. We walked into the Boathouse to find soft lighting and music playing to welcome us. It is such a beautiful and peaceful setting. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony to enjoy our breakfast each morning while listening to the birds. It is an easy 15 minute drive to Tybee Island as well as a short drive to downtown Savannah. The dock is absolutely beautiful and peaceful and the access to bikes and kayaks goes above and beyond. This is definitely a place I would recommend to friends.

The Boathouse was perfect place to stay in Savannah! The accommodations were just right for me and my husband. The setting is beautiful quiet and private. Everything was clean and comfortable. It’s about 10 mins to downtown. Ubers were about $15-$20 one way. There’s also plenty of good food options on Whitemarsh Island. We plan to visit The Boathouse again!

Brian and Patsi have really provided a unique and cozy experience. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Communication and check-in was very easy. Would definitely stay there again. As mentioned in others comments there is no laundry so pack extra clothes. We did find Savannah Coin Laundry who will wash and fold all your clothes for you.

The property is absolutely beautiful and even better in person than the pictures. It was a wonderful location that was close enough to Savannah and other areas to get around easily, but then be able to get out of the hustle and bustle to a peaceful, quiet retreat. Highly recommend.

This charming little boathouse is just so special. You enter this hidden gem and walk into a cozy living room and well equipped roomy kitchen. The boat house was clean and tastefully decorated. The owners had even left the lights on for us and had soft jazz music playing. The single bedroom is beautiful. The bed is comfy and just right. Lots of windows let the sunlight in. The en-suite bath is large and they had nice fluffy towels for guests to use. Communication with the owners was easy. Lots of shopping nearby and very close to downtown Savannah. We had the perfect stay!

Absolutely beautiful. We loved being a little off the beaten path. The location was amazing for us! It was extremely quiet, and relaxing! My only complaint is the living room seating was NOT accommodating or comfortable, if you are planning on spending any time watching TV or relaxing at end of the day, or cuddling up on the couch. Jasper the cat was adorable! The flowers and the grounds around the boathouse are so pretty. We would definitely stay again. The bed was absolutely amazing! We were so thankful for a comfy bed at the end of a long day!

When choosing where to stay for our trip to Savannah, my wife and I debated whether to stay here or a more traditional place in the Savannah historical district. We are happy we made this choice. The property is just a short drive into downtown Savannah, while providing a peaceful setting close to nature. This allowed for lazy mornings just hanging out and relaxing, followed by driving to wherever we wanted to explore on a given day. One of our favorite things was watching the sunrise from the dock, surrounded by a wide assortment of birds beginning their day. The house itself is remodeled and decorated nicely and comfortably. We had plenty of space to hang out, both inside as well as on the deck and patio. The living and kitchen areas, along with a convenient powder room are on the first floor, with the large bedroom, with sitting area, and large modern bathroom upstairs. There are plenty of windows to allow for natural light. The wifi worked well, allowing me to check on work emails, and research activities we wanted to do. Two things to be aware of -- 1) there is no washer/dryer (this was the second leg of our trip, and normally we would have done laundry, but just needed to plan ahead to have enough clean clothes), and 2) there are two air/heat units (up and down) - make sure they are both on cool or both on heat. This is laid out in the binder provided regarding the property, which by the way, is very thorough and helpful. We had a great time, and I would not hesitate to recommend the boathouse!
