We had a great time. The house was large and very functional. The kids really enjoyed the movie room and game room. The owner was very helpful and responsive.

Our family just enjoyed a week at this beautiful home. We unanimously decided it was one of our top vacations! We thoroughly enjoyed the backyard and our time on the water, and we were very comfortable in the home. Kirk was a gracious host and we would rent again from him if we get the opportunity!

Our group of 10 neighborhood friends played in a state tennis tournament over the weekend and rented this house. The location was great and house amenities - hot tub, ping pong table, dock, all got lots of use. The owner, Kirk, lives next door and was responsive to all queries and requests and more than made up for a mixup in the cleaning service by allowing us a late check out on Sunday. Overall, it was a great experience and would definitely use again.

Great home to host our extended family reunion. We really appreciated the large kitchen and basement play area/movie room - all large enough for our group to gather in. Outside hot tube was great for little kids and adults alike. Easy access to the lake and excellent communication with host throughout. Would recommend!

Kirks home on the lake was just perfect! We had 3 families plus all off our lake toys. Kirk met us at the house to give us a tour and then it was vacation time. The dock was perfect because we had jet skis with tubes and a few fishermen took advantage of fishing from the dock! Plenty of indoor space for sleeping and just chilling! Loved the full 2 kitchens! In the evenings we took advantage of using the fire pit outside and hot tub after a hard day of playing in the lake. Thank you Kirk for the use of your spacious lake house! We have lots of lake memories for our families to share!

This property is spectacular and has all the trimmings needed for an awesome stay. Great indoor and outdoor spaces, enough room for everyone. We loved cooking in the spacious kitchen and convenient to the grocery store. Plenty of room for family dinners. Having all the linens provided was super convenient for those of us flying in from out of state. We played games, had epic ping pong battles, set up lawn games, and rented a pontoon boat from a nearby service who dropped off the boat and picked it up from our dock. The house is on a beautiful and quiet part of the lake. Perfect for kayaks or paddle boards. The house was only an hour from Charlotte airport. We had the best week! We look forward to another visit to Lake Norman!

The pictures on VRBO do not do this house justice. It is so open, bright and spacious and with 16 people we did not feel cramped in the least. This property has everything to make the most of a sunny day on the lake or a rainy day inside. We had zero issues, but the owner was quick to respond to all of our general questions. We 100% would return for another perfect week on the lake!

We enjoyed our stay at the house over Christmas. The house is very large, well equipped and easily accommodated our group of 8. Tha main reason we chose this house was that the dining room table could seat 8 so we could all enjoy Christmas dinner together. The lake views are awesome, and we were able to enjoy the lake, dock, patio and hot tub due to the unseasonably warm weather. Kirk explained all the amenities very well and was very responsive when we had a question.
The cleanliness of the house left something to be desired. The floors were quite dirty, kitchen utensils needed to be cleaned before use and towels were stained and a bit threadbare.

Family Thanksgiving Weekend
Awesome time away with extended family over the long Thanksgiving weekend. Kirk was easy to work with, accommodating to requests, and always quick to respond to questions. The house and its grounds were an amazing backdrop to our long overdue family gathering. Plenty of space to gather, to eat, to visit and to play!! We put many of the amenities to use (fire pit, hot tub, canoe, dock, to name a few), which made this weekend one to remember! If our future travel plans bring ua back to the Lake Norman area, we hope this house is available!!!

We had an amazing time! The house is wonderful with plenty of room. We had a total of 6 adults with 5 children. The small beach area was perfect for the kids. They spent the majority of their time in the water, either swimming, or in the hot tub. The ability to sit and relax, or fish, from the dock was great. Our children loved every minute!

We had an amazing time! The house is wonderful with plenty of room. We had a total of 6 adults with 5 children. The small beach area was perfect for the kids. The dock was very well maintained and large to hold 2 to 3 boats. We loved how it was setting in a cove so we can swim easily in the water. The water had a sandy beach and easy entry. The outside surroundings were perfect. We were able to have a bonfire with Wood that was left and sat out by the bar by the hot tub. We had so much fun inside playing ping-pong. The sleeping arrangements and numerous bathrooms were Plentiful for such a large group.

The 4th floor of the house is unfurnished and the kids loved it, they called it the scream room, very fun! It was also very nice that the home had soap and toilet paper available. Realizing that this is a very large house that is hard to clean in a span of 5 hours, it could have benefitted from a larger, more thorough cleaning crew. When we arrived the floors felt greasy and we found a piece of glass next to the kitchen. All in all this property is a great place to stay, would happily come back!

This property hit all the boxes on our checklist! Beautiful lake views and access, fishing and boating dock, a sandy beach, flat grassed lawn, a fence to contain the kiddos, a small pool/hot tub, outdoor bar, basement game room, movie room, tons of bedrooms, and wonderful living space for all with excellent views. The house came stocked with lots of the expected and also some bonus items. A selection of board games in the family room was a nice surprise. Bonus rooms had extra sheets and blankets. Everything was very clean and Kirk responded ASAP to our many questions. He even helped us take our family photo. Would highly recommend this property for families looking for a relaxing all-inclusive property to spend a week. 5 stars all around!

The house and location of this property was absolutely perfect for our extended family vacation. All 15 members of our family, ranging from 4 to 70, enjoyed the entire week. The house had so much room to spread out or gather together for meals. The backyard, the basement (game room), and the dock gave all the kids plenty of things to do. Kirk, the property manager, was so easy to communicate with. He showed us around the house and made sure we had everything we needed. Truly couldn't have asked for a better house. We will be back for sure.
