The location was lovely the hotel looks so pretty rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable, the leisure centre was good even for kids

They were doing maintenance work and it started about 9am which woke us up as it was so loud and we wanted to relax as we was on holidays also one of the nights at about 2am the fire alarm went off and it was a false one again woke us up But the manager was very good about it and gave us complimentary late checkout

Staff were very polite and accommodating. Room was clean and tidy. Beds were firm and comfortable.

The setting, luxury, little extras and general ambience of the hotel were totally unexpected and much enjoyed! On arrival, the drive up to the hotel blew us away (even the taxi driver was impressed) and the reception area also very impressive. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. The little touches like the room refresh for those staying longer than one night, and the chilled water station really added to the experience. I made a cup of tea in my room one morning and realised I didn't have time to drink it, but take-out cups were provided with the tea and coffee making facilities! Perfect! We wished we'd booked longer than our 2 night stay as we could have done so much more, just being based at the hotel! I heard the walks in the grounds are lovely, not to mention potential Insta moments on the oversized deckchair and a fun game of giant chess! We made good use of the pool and it all came together to feel like a real holiday. We were so sad to leave and will be returning.

The hotel ,the grounds and the majority of the staff were all great. We have stayed here before as we had really pleasant stays..

The noise from the next room was horrendous .I had to ring reception twice during the night as we could not sleep due to the noise The breakfast was not as good as in previous stays.and the one male member of staff at breakfast was extremely scruffy, and there was a lot of casual talk to other members of staff. Whilst we were eating. The jacuzzi needs a deep clean, the tiles are very grubby, and one is broken.

Clean. Lovely environment. Plenty of parking. Friendly staff. Good size TV in the room. Nice to have tea and coffee in the room. Had a trouser press and ironing board with iron. Shower had good pressure.

No bottled water apart from the executive suites. Not enough pillows- they sunk quickly. No regular plug sockets next to the bed. Had to connect charger to opposite end of the room.

The hotel is close to Leeds Bradford Airport so it was perfect for an overnight stay before and after a late and early flight. They let you leave your car there for no extra charge so it is perfect

The pillows - too high and really uncomfortable to sleep on. There need to be some softer ones too

Staff super helpful with my daughter's dairy allergy. Very good menu in the Grill. Decent gym facilities - separate cardio room, weights and studio. Decent pool and spa. Very good value.

This is no reflection on the hotel, but the pillows are too big for me. This shouldn't reflect on the hotel as pillows are such a personal thing.

Car park not big enough .

The room was amazing, and the beds were super comfy. The grounds are lovely and clean. Beautiful to walk around, and my little girl loved being outside.

We weren't aware that the pool wasn't working to full standards. My little girl loves swimming and was a major factor in our coming. The pool was absolutely freezing, and my little girl couldn't stand being in the pool for very long. We only saw a notice the day of us leaving, and there was no notice in the pool areas itself. If the pool had been heated, like it states it is, then this place would have received top marks.

The pool is freezing cold, I mean colder than a council leisure centre pool. The jacuzzi was also very cold. The rooms have no soundproofing so bring earplugs.

There was a group of 12 of us were staying here for a funeral & the hotel was good. We had dinners together in the evening which were all good and pleasantly served by the staff who were all very helpful.

Breakfast was unexceptional with no fruit on offer.

the food is a disaster they don’t even offer drinks in the restaurant . they interrupt eating to ask you to pay staff or elusive and unhelpful . they shears pretend to be out of certain. things like hot chocolate . the breakfast bread sctuslly had mould on it . don’t eat in dining room 3/3 awful meals and service but bar food is good .

Heating did not work in the room. Room was in poor condition.

I have no words to express my gratitude for the staff during my stay. First Leona Coates, thank you for your hospitality. And second the three staff members who sat with me for over an hour, Jack Davidson, Edita and liyah when I was waiting for my carer, thank you so much for helping me through a traumatic event. And to Ahmad, you helped me to my room when I couldn't walk but please make use of some gloves, your hand are very cold! 😂. I love this place and it feels like home.

The swimming area, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna were closed, and the spa was fully booked, so it was just a regular hotel stay. It made it less relaxing for me. That's the only downside. Joolz was kind and apologetic so it made me feel a little better. Upon leaving I was given a couple hours extra due to my condition. I felt pressured to leave by a certain time through multiple phonecalls even though the room hadn't been booked.. It made me feel very stressed and led to a minor emotional breakdown which I was supported through by my carer/friend.
