Pleasant and welcoming staff, particularly at breakfast.

Hotel could do with some maintenance and updating.

We have stayed here before and we love the location easy after a days drive close to family towns

The size of the room and the restaurant's food and service were good

Air-conditioning did not work in our first room, and was 30+ degrees in our room. Only after complaining twice were we moved. The location is a long way from the beach,. The pool closed early each day, despite the extreme heat. The hotel is quite tired and rundown

Location was terrible as it wasn’t near anything- the plus was it was right off the highway and we were using it as quick stopover on the way to Sicily. Would have rather gone out of our way a bit for a proper hotel stay.

Just bad all around. As my partner put it.. seems to be an out of season hotel that’s been out of season for 10+ years. Restaurant was the worst food experience in Italy so far. Ordered pasta that tasted like fish- there was no fish in the dish. In major need of an update and facelift- very tired and depressing place. And for the price- Stay elsewhere! They need to majorly drop their price until they renovate this place!!

size of shower was very small and couldn’t move. also Sat night had wedding so very noisy and music playing till midnight so couldn’t sleep pool and times very limited and therefore couldn’t use and included in price. best to user pay system!

staff were lovely , room was spotless and all areas in general

location challenging as you cannot walk anywhere but hotel were excellent to arrange taxis , which were very reasonable and the driver was very professional .

The room air-conditioning was aweful! I complained twice to the ladies in the reception but they kept on saying it was programmed to 18°c. so for them it was ok. It wasn't for us! The A/C screen in the room marks 24°c! It was freakin hot in our room so we tried to open the window. But the air-conditioning will automatically goes off with the opened window! And not only that, if you open the window the mosquitos will massacre you! They also need to educate the lady cleaner to knock the door before entering the room to clean up. For 2 times she surprised us by opening the door without even thinking of knocking first! I find that so rude and annoying! Lastly, I guess they need to do some upgrading to merit the "4*" like fixing the broken glass at the sides of the hotel entrance. It's dangerous for the guests! They also need to do the regular cleaning of the pool. It has full of sand at the bottom.

Pool area was nice albeit dirty. Our cleaning staff and one gentleman in the restaurant were friendly.

Dirty, dated hotel. Towels were thread bare. Public toilet was filthy, breakfast was below average. Staff were not always wearing masks nor were guests asked to wear them. Walls in room were paper thin - you could hear EVERYTHING happening in next room. Pool was open to people from the city of Palmi so it was loud crowded and pool was cloudy and dirty.
