Nice resort at Yalong bay. Rooms are well equipped and beach / pool area is very nice. We enjoyed the beach restaurant a lot. It‘s the only hotel with lot’s of sun beds at the beach. Gym area is a bit old fashioned but has everything you need.

Not a true 5* experience. Breakfast restaurant is pretty old fashioned, coffee comes in plastic cups, service a bit slow. In addition we waited until 18:30 until we got our room keys.

Room was big, balcony had a towel rack. The beach was nice apart from the dredging happening at that time. Breakfast was okay but way too many people bumping into you and pushing in. Yalong bay is a good area to live with many hotels on that beach front.

The beds were as hard as a rock, when we asked if we could move to a room with softer beds, we were informed they were all the same. They added a duvet underneath the sheets, but that didn't help much. I woke up every morning with a back ache. The pool looks amazing with different sections to swim in, but the water is heated, so it's not refreshing in the summer at all. Maybe it's nice during the winter. Also, not a lot of shade over the swimming pool.

The beach is amazing! clean, great for swimming, safe etc. nice swimming pools and delicious food with multiple options.

Very relaxing stay

The rooms were spacious and clean. The sea view from the room was nice. It was nice to have dinner at the Fish Bar on the beach at sunset. The Chinese restaurant Man Ho at the hotel was excellent. It was nice to stay on the beach and swim in the sea (the hotel has an area in the sea, bordered by buoys, where swimming is safe). It was also nice to have a drink in the lounge in the afternoon. The view from the lounge terrace was really beautiful. Overall the resort and the bay were nice.

The cushions of the sun loungers would need to be changed. The sun umbrellas on the beach were all rusty. The baskets on the beach were always full of waste and bottles. The toilets near the beach were dirty, dark and old. The open-air showers were invaded by vegetation. It was little bit scary to have a shower there. There was no changing room near the beach or pools. Swimming in the sea was sometimes impossible due to a sea scooter rental that spilled gasoline into the sea. Even staying on the beach some days was unpleasant due to the strong smell of gasoline. The pool was nice, but it would need maintenance: ugly exposed pipes, uncomfortable seats full of sharp stones, the whirlpools were useless because invaded by vegetation. Impossible to swim in the pool in the evening due to poor lighting. Halfway through our stay, the hotel management asked us to change rooms, because they wanted to start some maintenance work in our wing, without any compensation for the inconvenience caused to us. Bad breakfast: often not fresh food, little choice and super rude staff. The same rude staff you could find in the evening at the buffet: the table was dirty, and at my request to clean it, the waitress snorted, just to name one episode. The waiters and service staff wore worn-out and stained uniforms. The Fish Bar could be a very nice place if it was better kept: more than a resort restaurant, it looked like a campsite restaurant. The singer who had to cheer the customers in the evening sang sadly and out of tune: in the end, he was depressed and depressing, and we had to sit as far away from him as possible. In general, we have noticed little attention to the customer everywhere. We had the distinct feeling that no one in the hotel (staff and management) really cared about us. The hotel staff is not well-trained. The general feeling was that despite the high rates, the hotel is in trouble and is decaying

Evrything was nice

This is my second stay here and I’m quite satisfied. If you’re looking for a comfortable place to stay where your main activity is relaxing and/or swim, then this is the place for you. The beach is amazing.

Maybe the hotel shouldn’t allow the water sports to be that close to the swimming area. The noise pollution at the beach and the gasoline you breath when you swim is not nice.

The service was awesome. They helped me to celebrate my husband birthday. They explained everything. They tried to support me even when we could not speak the same language.

Other guests used the pool as a shower for a kid. Also, some of them smoked in public areas.

There are lots of options for breakfast, they have kinds of tropical fruits and some local dishes. The hotel staff is nice and friendly especially the pool staff, I lost my Apple Watch by the pool, and they kept it for me, which is very nice. The sea view restaurant is great, scallops are huge, much bigger than what we had in any restaurants in Sanya. All the facility is good, and so close to the beach, Perfect !

The font desk staff is not professional at all. Before we arrive in Sanya, hotel called my friend about when she will arrive, and the hotel staff leak me and my bf personal reservation details without our permission to my friend (we are not even staying in the same room, and we didn't book through the same platform at all, I don't understand why they can easily tell someone's personal information to others, and not even call us about when we will arrive as well ) which is unbelievable , because my friend she was overreacted something she should not know about our reservations details. Also, when we check out, the lady was about to charge me one more night, and I was totally confused because I booked the 3 nights totally, though it is 2 split bookings. Though the second time she printed the receipt to us, the amount is correct, but she forgot we had the deposit until we remind her, and I have told them we will late check out and she marks okay to 2pm but the second day I confirm with them again, they change it to 1 pm ? I was unhappy about to remind them again to check the note again, and they realized it is 2pm.
