The breakfast was good and the play area was nice for children. The parking was great and there were some good restaurants close by.

The pool was much smaller than the photograph. The decor of the hotel was dated.

My stay at Best Western Hotel Chambery was nothing short of exceptional. From the warm and welcoming staff to the comfortable and stylish rooms, every aspect of the hotel was designed to provide guests with a delightful experience.

Nice hotel, very good location. Not far from the lake, beautiful nature in surrounding. Seems to be popular, as it was full with visitors, mostly families. Helpful staff members.

stayed many times before but so disappointed with the lack of quality and cleanliness this time air conditioning not working no English speaking tv yet CNN on in the lobby

staff not interested in making any thing better and we eventually left four days early didn’t even get a final bill unless we came back in 12 hours time we booked a suite which had 2 small windows with trees less than a metre in front of them in the description the room has a view! we had to downgrade to a standard room to be able to see out and because we used booking.com they were unable to refund they should no regrets at all as far as TV was concerned we were told it was since the troubles l asked what troubles and was told Brexit !!!

This was the second time we came to stay on our way to the Alps. It is a convenient place to stay for one night, straight off the motorway. The rooms were nice and clean. Reception staff was very helpful and the breakfast buffet is very good. The restaurant unfortunately was closed for dinner. We were told that there was no chef apparently. Every restaurant near the hotel was booked out, so we ended up eating some fastfood late at night. Would have been nice to receive a message about the restaurant being closed prior to arrival. After being on the road since 4.30am in the morning we didn't want to head off in the car again around 7.30/8pm to find a restaurant further away. This would unfortunately put me off booking again.

Room needed refurbishment, air conditioning very noisy and not efficient, not much choice for breakfast considering the price.

great location. small rooms but comfortable and nicely decorated. in fact the whole hotel is very classy for a Best Western and had the right French Riviera feel without being either too expensive or too overdone. A place where we could have easily stayed longer. Rooms with sea view worth it. it was too cold to use the pool but it looked great. special compliments for the use of green and the gardening. breakfast very good to excellent although even a hotel like this seems to not be able to escape some industrial bake off nor the standard coffee machines. very secure private parking with large spaces (paying of course).

the staff was somewhat cold or distant. not just one person but several. the elevator is Parisian size. one example : we were with older people and they had to struggle themselves with the tiny elevator upon arrival. any person with a decent sense of hospitality would have jumped up to help and for a hotel with this standard.

Used as a one night stop over on the way home from skiing. Clean, comfortable and easy to find straight off the motorway. Good size family room with 2 double beds. Helpful staff.
