The room was very clean and cozy, not cramped. We had a balcony room facing the rear of the hotel, the part not accessible by the elevator. The room got top marks for being cool, dark and quiet! Perfect sleeping conditions in my opinion. Our bed was comfortable. The shower had excellent water pressure and sufficient hot water. The breakfast buffet was excellent, a large variety of delicious foods! The location was excellent. Close to the waterfront, and near many restaurants. I felt safe while there. The staff were friendly and nice. They allowed us to use the garage to store our bags after we checked out while we waited for our boat. We have travelled through Germany twice, and both times we stayed in Bacharach. If we travel through Germany again, we will stay in Bacharach again. It is such a charming small town. And we will stay at this property next time.

Die Lage war perfekt, sehr leckeres Frühstück, das Zimmer war mega toll! Sehr nette Gastgeberin und da sie selbst 2 Enkel im Kleinkinderalter hat, hatte sie grosses Verständnis für unsere 2 Wirbelwinde :-)
Keine Beanstandung aber vielleicht eine Idee:
Falls immer mal wieder Familien mit Kindern das Hotel besuchen, wäre eine kleine Spielecke im Restaurant einfach super toll :-)

Das Hotel und auch das Zimmer waren sehr sauber. Die Gastgeberin war ausgesprochen nett und hilfsbereit.
Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich und ließ keine Wünsche offen; am Kaffeeautomaten hatte man die Qual der Wahl.
Die Lage des Hotel war super (max. 1 - 2 Minuten vom Rheinufer entfernt) und bot dadurch auch noch abends die Möglichkeit, am Fluss entlang zu spazieren.
Im Bad hätte ich mir mehr Ablagemöglichkeiten gewünscht. Angesichts der anderen positiven Merkmale trat das aber in den Hintergrund.

The Bacharacher Hof was the perfect place for us to stay on our first Rhine Valley trip. Our check-in was super easy, and we felt very welcome. Easy access by car right off the main road, and parking spot was provided during our stay, which is great as you do not need a car while in Bacharach. The hostess was super nice, friendly and helpful making recommendations for the best wineries and giving advice on ferries when we checked out. The buffet-style breakfast was perfect- highly recommended if you are staying in the Hof. Great variety of choices and really premium quality. Both of the double rooms we and our friends had were comfortable and we slept really great! Hope to return and also try the swimming pool and the sauna, which is open 24-hours!

I loved staying here, the hosts were a really nice family and they were super caring and sweet. We had a brand new room and a few things weren't fully working yet but they fixed it right away which I really appreciated. The room was also very nice, comfortable beds and a nice bathroom. They even have a swimming pool with a sauna which I was very happy with :) also a big breakfast, lots of choices to eat/drink!
The only thing I didn't realize was how close you are to the railway. Our room was on the train side so you could hear every train passing by. I'm a light sleeper so that kept me awake sometimes but if you bring some earplugs you'll be fine!

amazing location. sound proofed against the trains but not if you opened up the windows. great staff!!!! would absolutely recommend anyone to stay here.

Nice hotel in a good location, 10 minutes walk from the train station. Half a minute walk to the church and main square. Few cafés within a 5 minutes walk and 10 minutes walk to the Rhine River. Will stay again.

The twin room was good and clean. The breakfast was excellent. The wifi worked. The location was central in town, and 10 min walking from the train station.
(1) I sent a per-request for 'a quiet room' since I am a light sleeper. But I got perhaps the most noisy room in the building - next to the elevator. When I wondered if there was a quiet room, the owner was saying something like 'you booked a twin room... you could book a better room...". I do understand the limitations in room choices; but she could perhaps rephrase her answer in a better way.
(2) I am quite sure that I had booked a room with breakfast on booking.com (in this sleepy little town, how would I get breakfast otherwise?). If you check this same property on booking.com today, all rooms come with breakfast. But when I checked in, I was told that my reservation had no breakfast. Since I did not have any evidence otherwise, I had to pay additional 27 euro for two breakfasts. So, when you reserve this hotel, save the details for what have been promised.

Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Room comfortable with plenty of space for unpacking. Great location in lovely town of Bacherach and our room also looked towards The Rhine. Garage for bikes.

This is a very clean and tidy facility. The swimming pool was lovely. Very central to the quaint old town.
There was no tea nor coffee making facilities in the room. Could not even get a cuppa from the hotel downstairs.
