Good location, nice wood interior, nice windows, good bathroom. Very spacious for 4-5 folks with two separate bedrooms and attic space as well for additional guests.

Mattress wasnt so great, it was bouncy.

The information received prior to arrival is communicated very effectivly and clearly so it is easy to arrive late or outside office hours. the cottage is quite large with two bedrooms downstairs; one with two single beds(easy to make a double bed) and the other bedroom with 2 bunk beds. The attic space is large with two single beds aswell. The cottage is very clean and offers everything you need for your stay; towels, linnens, soap, kitchen towels and so on. The outside area is very nice for a family stay. There is a large patio with a bbq and dining area, as well as green areas and a covered hotub, so it is possible to use it no matter how the weather is. We will definitely choose this property for out next travel to Akureyri.

I was surprised about the size of cottage, it is really big inside and have a lot of space and cosy living room. Also the hot tube was great!

The staff was quite friendly. And the location was perfect. The facilities were comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay at Akureyri Cottages.

There is nothing we didn't like.

It was spacious, which is what a family of 6 needs. It was also nice to have an access to a hot tub.

It doesn’t have a double bed, but that one is on me, I should have read the description better. otherwise I can’t fault it.

Excellent location, close to grocery stores. Nice hot tub covered outside the cabin. Easy to warm up use as advertised.

Would have preferred couple of basic items in the kitchen like Salt, Pepper and Cooking oil. That would have made the stay really super.

We love the place.

We stayed for two nights. All of us were itching while sleeping. It must have something to do with the bed linens/bed sheets. It could be bed bugs or mites. The rest is fine.

It was very nice. It was big and confortable.

The bathroom was not very clean.

The cabin was spacious and comfortable. The whole compound is located conveniently right next to a pizza place and within 5 minutes walk of a supermarket. The city centre is just 5 minutes drive away.

Not really a hassle but the process to check in is a bit complicated.
