Car parking is confusing. The lady at the reception has a unique communication style. It felt like my questions were annoying her. In interactions like this, I actually would prefer doing check-in using a kind of kiosk, as they have in McDonalds.

The location is great, easy to find, just on the other side of VW. The stuff is well trained, young, they speak understandable English and are for the most part polite. The hotel lobby and restaurant are ok, prices are normal (for this type of hotel). It is clean, the beds are comfortable (10/10), bathroom is clean, nothing to complain about. Breakfast is generous, with a wide variety of foods, coffee and fruit - 100% recommend to get breakfast included. This is our second stay at the hotel in the past 6 months - that alone should say a lot.

Wi-Fi is terrible in 2023 - 0.7Mb download, 0.4Mb upload (measured by https://www.speedtest.net/). For the room price, please upgrade the WI-FI because we are in 2023, internet is not something exquisite, but rather a banality, that all of us use everyday. Asking for 6 euro to speed up the internet to a 3Mb (measured by https://www.speedtest.net/) is just plain RUDE.

Lovely rooms with lots of nice details like a comfortable lounge chair, a toilet that was separate from the rest of the bathroom, a rain shower and a mini bar fridge large enough to store extra water bottles in.

The price of breakfast is pretty steep (my family would have needed to pay 76 Euro per day for that - two adults and two kids).

The location of the hotel & room itself was good.

Due to alot of suffocation in the room, i was not able to breathe properly. I asked the night shift employee to help me out , but he was not able to understand my problem completely. All because of this , i was not able to sleep properly & i got late to the office for 2 consecutive days. One day at night i did vomit (due to suffocation problem) , i was not able to reach to the commode (because it was too spontaneous) & therefore i did it in the sink. Next morning, staff asked me to pay extra 200 euros for cleaning services which i refused to pay & did all by myself (though i was not feeling well). In short, i didn't like the way they handled the suffocation problem & asked me 200 euros for vomit cleaning (which eventually happened because of room suffocation).

Basic wifi is slow. Nowadays fast wifi is must. It's like charging for warm water. Heating was limited. It is obvious that hotel trys to safe energy cost.

Very well located if one is on Volkswagen related business. Underground car park under the hotel (large, because it's public) with plenty of space. Friendly staff, clean room with a nice chaise longue where one can chill instead of messing up the bed immediately.

Breakfast wasn't very impressive and is served on the fifth floor in between room doors on the hotel corridor. To be honest if I were staying in one of those rooms I wouldn't be too happy with the smells and the commotion. Also there were yogurts and mueslis but... no large spoons to eat them with, so I ended up using a fork (the staff said they had only small spoons). The breakfast room doubles as a "panorama" bar but when I arrived it was closed for no apparent reason. Wifi was very slow.

Location is most close to the main train station with access to Porsche street, which is also close. On that street there are several possibilities to for dinner. For hotel, nothing to complain. Everything as expected.

My room card was not coded properly to use the elevator, but this is really a minor issue. If INNSIDE wants to improve, it would be great to enhance the amount of free television channels. In these times of on-demand services like Netflix, Amazon and so on it is a little outdated.

As a a vintage VW aficionado, staying here with all of the art throughout was fantastic.

Having come from a much older hotel in Hamelin without AC, I was really looking forward to staying in a modern hotel that had AC, especially since it was quite warm the days of our trip. Unfortunately, our room thermostat appeared to be working, but clearly wasn’t cooling off as the room remained at 24c. Rather than being moved to another room, I was given a key that allowed me to fully open the room window. This cooled the room to 23.5. Also, the room window fully open meant it hinges toward the bed and only at a 45o angle, which meant you had to close it in order to get by each time you got up. A little disappointed that rather than sending a technician to look into the thermostat for an easy fix, the solution was open up the “jump” window.

Modern styling. Very clean. Good selection of complimentary toiletries. Location directly opposite the train station. Upstairs bar & rooftop an added bonus. Most probably the most premium hotel option in WOB aside from the Ritz-Carlton at the Autostadt.

To the hotel management itself: Charging €2 per pod to make coffee with the Nespresso machine inside the room seems a bit “tacky”, especially considering the target market of business travellers and the as-is room rate. Rather forgo the complimentary shaving kit and instead offer the in-room coffee “for free”. :-)
