La disponibilité de Benedetta. Elle nous a accueilli pour qu’on puisse garer la voiture autour de l’hôtel malgré les travaux en cours dans la rue. Elle nous a conseillé où acheter de l’aceto balsamico. Elle était souriante et nous a permis de nous sentir à l’aise après un long voyage. De plus, nous partions tôt et on nous a préparé un petit déjeuner à emporter.
L’hôtel en tant que tel est très bien placé dans Modena. Les chambres et parties commune sont très bien entretenues et décorées avec soin pour un palazzo traditionnel. Nous nous sommes sentis comme des prince et princesse.

This hotel is beautiful in every regard. The interior aesthetics are perfectly appointed - it’s so beautiful. The owner has high standards, great sense of design and many interesting art pieces.
The owner is also the receptionist and host and is friendly, helpful & accommodating.
The breakfast dining room is comfortable and gorgeous as well as an outstanding buffet is outstanding.

How beautiful the hotel is, especially the breakfast room. How details are all thought of. That you make you a cappuccino. We also requested mending kit and and iron which weren’t a problem at all. They provided a drink at night if you liked as well as literature and energy packs so you don’t get dehydrated. What a great idea for travellers!
I can’t think of anything. Our host worked so hard accommodating everyone’s needs.

It was a spacious room with two large windows onto an inner courtyard. The bed was very comfortable as was the bathroom with shower. We were able to park our car on a nearby street and were given a free parking pass for that.
We were very tired from our trip and went to bed early. There was some noise at night from the apartment upstairs before 10pm.

Salotto delle Arti is a fabulous boutique hotel right in the center of old Modena. It felt like we were in a palace. We stayed in the Cacchia room. It was a wonderful stay starting with the very clear and exact instructions on how to complete our self check-in as well as a parking permit which one needs to have displayed. Benedetta the hotel owner is just delightful. She is so friendly and helpful. She gave us greet recommendations on where to eat as well as places to visit. I would definitely stay at Salotto delle Arti again.
Everything was absolutely perfect! I don’t want to sound negative. My only suggestion is that while the breakfast was ample. It consisted mainly of different cakes and sweet pastries as well as fresh fruit and yogurt. It would have been nice if there was a toaster or some cheese as not everyone enjoys eating sweet food in the morning.

A delightful room with a garden outlook. Every thing was in good order, it was spotlessly clean and the staff very obliging and charming.
There was some confusion re the self check in. We arrived late due to train cancellations.Instructions were clear as to entering, however it was not clear that the first two doors were linked in their locking mechanism. Fortunately other guests helped, having had the same concern

Benedetta and her team were brilliant, going above and beyond. Before we arrived, I contacted them to see if we could drop off our bags before check in, and not only was that possible, our room was ready when we arrived mid morning. Also, I left some personal belongings behind and Benedetta went to a huge amount of effort to return them to me in the UK. Our room was beautiful and comfortable and the whole building was stunning. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Rooms, breakfast room and the fact that it stayed open later than most - we were on vacation and in no hurry to get up. I would never stay anywhere else in Modena.

Perfect location to enjoy Modena. The old-city is very walkable and all points of interest are 10 minutes by foot. The room's decoration is beautiful in a classical style. Bathroom is big with hot water and excellent pressure. Wifi signal is good.
Last by not least - Benedetta is a superb host - she gave us impeccable recommendations on where to eat, helped with reservations and helped us out with anything we needed.

Salotto dei Arti is a special boutique hotel with a unique and intimate ambience. Rooms are presented with traditional and tasteful decor, no two rooms being the same. Convenient central location in Modena historic centre. The business owner manages this property in a "hands on" and personal style and makes guests feel welcome. We would definitely return to this hotel.
To park, you have to find a parking place on the busy street. We were lucky and found a place 200m from the hotel. Hotel could add value and convenience to clients by helping clients with parking and luggage: this is a suggestion rather than a critique.

Bernadette is an amazing hostess. I really enjoyed chatting with her in the morning and learning more about the property which is just breathtaking, and the history is fascinating. Also she gave us a special balsamic tasting of Aceto Balsamic which was fab!

Just about everything. the manager Benedetta was charming. the room was nice snd big and comfortable and the location was superb. we came to Modena to have dinner at Osteria Francescana and our lovely room was 50 meters away !

No breakfast available during our stay. Was not informed of this before our arrival. Breakfast pictures were one of the draws to making reservations. Bennadetta was wonderful hostess and very helpful.
