Our room was comfortable and the wi-fi worked well. The breakfast buffet was excellent.

The bathroom and shower stall had no doors. You could sit on the bed, look into the mirror over the bathroom sink, and watch someone shower. The quasi-religious styling, such as the big pictures of models in nuns’ habits with eyeliner and nail polish, were overdone. Similary, the religious terminology applied to the drinking water (“Holy Water”), shampoo, and conditioner was over the top and a bit creepy. We reliaze that the property incorporates a former church but it was all a bit too much.

We have stayed here before and we will stay here again! Lovely hotel in the city center of Breda. The comfortable rooms in the beautifully restored "asylum of love" assured a perfect night rest during our stay in Breda.

Hotel called to tell me they had no rooms available on the day of check-in at 5pm. We were left in an unknown city without anywhere to sleep. Would not book again and would not recommend to anyone.

There are only two parking spaces but they reserved one for us free of charge because of my wife's disability. The accessible room was superb with French windows opening out to the car parking area. The room was large, well appointed and perfect for wheelchair access. Access to the breakfast room was more difficult but it was later explained that there was a separate wheelchair route. The hotel is 200m from the Grote Markt and Breda is a very nice city so the location could hardly be better. We may well return because we arrived at the start of the jazz festival and Breda had a great atmosphere, but it was heaving, limiting our possibilities.
