Perfect location, friendly staff, clean and well-equipped rooms.
The walls were a bit thin, we could here our neighbours, but it didn’t disturbed us.

Location was amazing! Short walk to the colosseum and very accessible to Metro line A. Silvana was so lovely and attentive, giving us directions and recommendations for the city. The room was very clean with great amenities such as kettle, fridge etc. We even asked Silvana if there was milk to make tea and she went got us some! We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Rome.
Our room was quite warm and we couldn’t figure out how to adjust the thermostat- but that may have been user error.

We are more than happy about our stay in Merulana holidays. Good location (14min walk from Colosseum). Silvana is very kind and friendly host - she showed us popular places in Rome, let us leave our luggage for a few hours after check out; also we found a sweet present in our room!
In a reception area you can always find coffee and some sweets.
Room is very clean and comfortable, we found everything we needed: water, shampoo, bodywash, all sizes of towels, smart tv, a/c and even a wine opener. 🙂 Also, I need to mention great shower.
We cannot say anything bad about this stay. Highly recommend! Hope we’ll come back one day.

Lovely room, very clean and comfortable. Silvana and her son Sergio were very attentive and helpful and so friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can definitely recommend staying with Merulana Holidays in Rome.

Merulana's apartment is beautiful, the location is also amazing, the attractions are within walking distance, and there's no need for city transport to visit them. The Colosseum is a 5-7 minute walk away, while the main Termini station is a 10-12 minute walk. The apartment is extremely clean, and the hosts are exceptionally well-intentioned and ready to help. During our check-in, everything about Rome was explained to us (sights, establishments, transport). Thank you very much for the unique service! We wholeheartedly recommend it!

Location close to main tourist attractions, but also to the metro station and Termini. Super clean and tidy room, exactly as you see it on pictures. Very kind and welcoming host. Everything was just great!

Everything! The location, cleanliness and facilities were amazing. I can’t rate this place high enough. Only downfall was not being able to connect with the TV with the wifi for screen share but this doesn’t affect my review on the place. Can’t rate this place high enough and definitely recommend to anyone.

The hosts, Silvana & Sergio, were amazing, kind, helpful people. The room was clean, modern & near Termini & underground tube.

Great location for sites in Rome. Beautiful building. Very clean facility . Staff highly accommodating.

The host was really nice! She was very welcoming and helpful. She told us straight away how to get around Rome and where all the main attractions situated. The room itself was very clean and quiet. Location was pretty good because you could either walk to attractions or take a metro there. The closest metro station was about 7 minutes away by walking. We could also leave our bags to the lobby after checkout and get them from there when we left. Definitely could recommend this place!

Rooms cleaned daily with new towels provided.
Walking distance to the colosseum. Bus stop in front which takes to roma termini in 5 mins and also to other tourist locations. So very easy to get to.
There is also a laundromat just beside the building so very easy to get your clothes washed if required.
Rooms are small so maybe not suitable if you have kids.
Great to stay for couples.
There is a coffee machine in the reception area but no microwave so we couldn't make coffee with milk so had to buy most of our coffees.

The hotel was nice, very clean, and the stuff (Silvana and her son Sergio) were super friendly. They gave us some excellent advice, like where to go for shopping, to visit some restaurants, or the best way to see the Colosseum.
The place is extremely well located. And there are some very good and relatively cheap restaurants nearby.
If we have to say something negative, the only thing was privacy, in the sense of hearing other people around. This is normal, as the hotel is an apartment with only 2 or 3 rooms.

Silvana from Merulana was the perfect host. She gave us intructions on how to get there from the train station, she explain and gave us a map with the attractions and she made sure the room was cleaned very day.
The room was spacious, away from the street noises and had everything we needed for this trip. The location was very good, we take the metro and bus to every attraction and it was a 12 min walk by foot to the Colosseum.
Silvana was so nice she even booked us the taxi to take us to the airport in the middle of the night. Thank you Silvana for being such a lovely host!

We had a wonderful stay at Merulana holidays! The room was renovated, modern and very clean. The beds were comfortable with extra pillows for us to use. The bathroom was spacious with a great shower. The location very nice, central and quiet with buses and metro stations near by. Special thanks to Svetlana who was very helpful and sweet and gave us lots of information about Roma! Grazie mille!
The only thing I can say is that the rooms are not soundproof and we could hear the neighbours (maybe the were a bit loud...).
I' m a light sleeper so with earplugs everything was fine. Other than that the residence is small, only three rooms, so overall there wasn't much noise.

A beautiful, modern interior tucked into an historical, beautiful building in a safe and lovely neighborhood near great attractions. The hostess, Silvana , was very friendly and helpful. We loved our stay.

Great location. Quiet but close to major sites. Great communication. Very clean. Was able to leave our luggage there when we arrived earlier than check-in, allowing us to explore with no worries. Spacious room.
Bed was on the firm side, so could be more comfortable for our own personal preference but this is minor.
