The cabin was the perfect size for our family of 4 and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the outside decks & firepit as well as the peaceful surroundings. We explored Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park. Ellsworth, and saw fireworks from Marlboro beach. The only reason we gave a 4 star rating for cleanliness was because the microwave and some of the dishes/silverware had not been cleaned or not cleaned well which were minor issues. Otherwise, the cabin was clean. Overall, we enjoyed the location and would rent the cabin again.

We loved our stay here and hated to leave. The home is clean and bright. The bedrooms are all comfortable with plenty of room to store your belongings. The loft is cozy and a nice spot to curl up and read a book. The downstairs is open and spacious - which is fantastic if you have a larger crew with you! The porch/deck has plenty of seating for gathering. It is perfect for enjoying the quiet of the morning with your coffee, the sunrise, and neighborhood deer. A portion of the porch/deck is covered so you can sit out there on those rainy days or stay dry while grilling dinner. The yard is large and perfect for any outdoor games you might want to bring with you. The property is perfectly located off the beaten path, yet a short drive to Acadia and surrounding areas. After walking around town or long hikes in Acadia, it is nice to have a quiet and relaxing home to return to. Marlborough Beach is around the corner - it is not a traditional sandy beach so don't expect to set up a sand chair with the kids, but it is a great spot to catch the gorgeous sunsets while looking for beautiful rocks and shells (beware of mosquitos!) Nate was fantastic with communication, and I hope we have an opportunity to rent from Nate and Becky again. You won't regret your stay here.

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage. Our granddaughter loved playing on the swing and slide. The yard was very large which was great for our dogs to play. Nate was very responsive when we had an issue with the microwave which turned out to be unplugged (that was embarrassing 😳).
The porch was nice for morning coffee. Sadly we did not have an opportunity to use the fire pit.

Great cottage for tourists that don’t want to be in the middle of the hustle and bustle. Nate and Becky were great at answering any questions I had and provided a beautiful, clean, well maintained cottage! The outdoor space was perfect for morning coffee, daytime lawn games and evening fires! The beach is only a few miles away and was great to take walks and picnics, Bar Harbor and Acadia Park was just a 20-25 minute drive and the town of Ellsworth was perfect for shopping and had all we needed to make our stay comfortable.

Lovely spot on the mainland close to Acadia Nat'l Park! The basketball court was great for our 9-year-old; our 6-year-old spent hours on the play structure. We loved making s'mores at the fire pit. Beautiful wide open skies at night. The Schoodic Peninsula was gorgeous and an easy drive, as were our favorite spots on Mt. Desert Island. Would definitely stay here again!

Extremely quiet location between 2 beaches and a freshwater lake. Close to plenty of restaurants and shopping. Lot’s nature and a great view of the sky above. Every accommodation needed is available.

This home was perfect for our vacation with friends and family. Large kitchen, great outdoor space for our dog, private location. Short 30 min drive into bar harbor or Acadia where there’s plenty to do and great restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay!

Quiet and beautiful home that we loved
This is my favorite home so far and we have been coming to bar Harbor for years. It was relaxing and secluded and only about 35 minutes to downtown. My family including our 2 dogs loved everything about this place to name a few the back yard with the deck and comfortable deck chairs, the beds, and the fire pit. We would love to book it again for next year.

Family visit
Loved the cottage. very relaxing retreat from the crowds of bar Harbor. Had my sister down from Bethel and my daughter with her 14 year old son, and her boyfriend. Fit us all very well. Close location to all the fun spots of Mount desert island

Great property
We had a great time staying at this property. The house was extremely comfortable and cozy. About 30 minutes to Bar Harbor, and easy access to the rest of MDI, the schoodic peninsula and Ellsworth. The house was a nice quiet place to come home to after the days’ adventures. It felt like staying at a friend’s house that had all the little things you might need, like scissors and tape in the drawer and all the cooking supplies needed. Beautiful, Comfy, Relaxing
The owners are wonderful! The property is exceptional! The owners were helpful and accommodating when COVID ruined our vacation plans. It was no disappointment when we were finally table to visit. The home is beautiful! Well stocked kitchen, everything you could possibly need. Comfy beds, cozy sofa, the patio/deck/yard layout just beg for your company. The drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor are easy enough, Ellsworth offers all the needs you could have, and is also an easy drive. We enjoyed every second and I genuinely did NOT want to leave. If I am able to return to Maine, like I hope, staying here again would definitely be a possibility!

Wonderful Stay!
We really enjoyed Cottage on Pasture Way. Excellent communication by the Owners, all questions answered timely and professionally. Excellent location between Bar Harbor and Schoodic Peninsula just along the coast. Really gave us an authentic Maine experience. Well stocked kitchen and bathroom supplies. It's lovely inside and out, convenient location in relation to Ellsworth for everything you need, but a more secluded location at the same time.

Family and pet friendly
This house is a distance from Bar Harbor and Acadia which is a pro and a con. The con is that you need to spend about 30-45 minutes in the car to get to the park or the town but the pro is that you are in the country and it is peaceful and relaxing. The house has everything you need and was clean and well maintained. We had a great week and would recommend to stay here.

Lovely stay at Lamoine!
This property was perfectly located to Mount Desert Island and Ellsworth. It was a relaxing retreat to wake up in every morning with the sun streaming in the windows and to return to at night after an great day of hiking in Acadia. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Little slice of heaven
This vacation was just what we needed to get away from the week and be away from grounds. The yard was fantastic and the kids and dog loved running around it! We were able to enjoy some of our favorite spots while also exploring new places. The drive to Acadia was no more 25 minutes and it was nice to be situated away from the crowds! Quiet secluded peaceful house close to Acadia National Park
Excellent location just 25 minutes to Acadia National Park. Great house for kids with a playground, basketball hoop and a big yard. We enjoyed coming back to this quiet spot after a long day of hiking to cook dinner and let kids run around. Highly recommend staying here if visiting this area.

Perfect quiet getaway
Such a great spot to getaway and slow down. It had everything we needed to relax and enjoy the trip. My son loved the open field. We watched fireflies every clear evening and sat gazing at the stars.

Close to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park
The home is located in a country setting and close to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. The drive is approximately 20 to 25 minutes to the park with another 5-7 minutes to downtown Bar Harbor. This is a nice home and we enjoyed our week long stay. The one complaint from our family members who were traveling with us is the beds need updating as they were not comfortable. There were also some cosmetic things that need fixing such as water damage to the bottom of the back door, painting on the walls where spackle has been applied, a hole in the floor near the dryer, and water damage on the window sills from past rain storms. The home was fully stocked with everything you need to make meals. The location of the home, in the country was very peaceful and there were a den of porcupines in the back yard eating from the apple trees. They were fun to watch from the house and seeing them climb the apple trees and slide back down was very entertaining. Overall, we would recommend this home if you are visiting Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.

Very nice home, convenient to supplies/shopping in Ellsworth, activities and shopping in Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Just a couple of minutes to rocky waterfront at Marlboro Beach.
