Thrilled
We came to Beaucaire for my son's wedding. I chose this space because I wanted a large living space to gather my family.
We had a bit of a hard time finding the home with our GPS. After that .... OMG! What an amazing place!!
We were 5 , sometimes a few more family members ... it was like home. The kitchen is made to be used, the kitchen table is large enough for whomever more (lol), living room is great, 1.5 bathrooms, great terrace, comfortable room sizes, comfortable beds, great view, quiet, easy to get around .....
It's a real treasure and am thrilled to have spent our special time in this lovely home.
Thank you!!

Perfect location and good value
This is the spot to explore Provence without paying too much. The apartment is comfortable and in a good location for this town. The castle is right down the road. Nimes, Arles, Avignon and so much more are a quick drive from Beaucaire. The waterfront area is beautiful and lively with some good places to eat and plenty of fresh bread and fine wines. We loved the twice a week market as well. The architecture along the narrow streets are amazing and history unfolds as you explore town and adjacent areas. The parking can be tricky but we found the free parking by the river convenient. The art work in the apartment is excellent and the wifi works well. Loved the great room and having one and a half baths helpful. We were told at first that the heat would not come on until Nov 2 or so, a couple of days before we would leave but somehow Dennis managed to find a portable heater and then the building turned on the heat - probably due to the temps in the forties F. We love France for fifteen nights we had a nice stay. Dennis helped whenever we called him. Also, nice to have a long distance phone free of charge (for land lines only.) Overall, we recommend the apartment for a good value in price.

A Year in Beaucaire
One, rue du champ de Foire in Beaucaire was a terrific home base for our time in France. In addition to its excellent location, the apartment had an amazing terrace view of the Rhone River and the lovely skyline of the chateau and church in near-by Tarascon, sunset skies and the rising moon. Weekly markets in Beaucaire and Tarascon are short walks away and the apartment is around the corner from Place de la Republic and Beaucaire’s own chateau. The apartment provided great living spaces and completely reliable internet and telephone connections, making it a comfortable, long-term living situation for an American couple.

Urbanity and Style in Provence
Our family was more than satisfied abour the Larges , the urban style and the completequipment of our lodging. Its description turned out to be more than fulfilled.
The neighbourhood (small ancient places with restaurants and bars, the river Rhone in walking distance, the landscape around Beaucaire - itwas a perfect melange!

Comfortable, good location, and perfect for a geta
I've traveled to Europe and France many times but this time brought my family including my parents. We wanted to rent a place in a central location where we could walk around the city and get food at night, but also where we could check out the surrounding area by car. The apartment was fantastic and the check-in process was so easy. There are great meals to be had in this town, and many of Provence's top sites are within an hour driving distance. The only downside was that the town was littered more than the usual French town. But that is the town and not the rental. Nonetheless, I would definitely come back to Beaucaire for this apartment and its location.
We enjoyed going to the market and the several bakeries that are nearby. In addition, we went to the restaurant on the water where we had fantastic mussels and salads for dinner.

Spacious apartment in an excellent location.
We were two couples but the apartment could easily have supported a third couple. Would be excellent for a family.

The three bedroom apartment had everything we needed: French and British TV service, fast Internet (wifi and ethernet), well-equipped kitchen. And the terrace is great - lots of shade in the late afternoon when it's otherwise hot. The only thing we noticed, probably because have two babies that crawl, was that the floors weren't very clean. (Maybe because they let us check-in by noon, the local caretakers didn't have time?) Otherwise, the flat was clean and the management was very good to deal with. Other positives: it's a very good location: Near Les Baux-en-Provence. And not far from arles, Nîmes and avignon. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommended it.

Exceeds all expectations. This apartment is Large and Comfortable, very Roomy. High ceilings, good beds, new 21st century kitchen, new bathroom and second toilette/sink. Everything works including computer, etc. Huge windows open on the green open Field of the Fair (Champ du Faire) on the banks of the Rhone. You are in medevial Beaucaire behind a city wall with narrow streets, castle ruins, and all Provence before you. Walk, bike, motor to your hearts content, and come back to your happy lodging, and enjoy your own private balcony terrace to boot. It was warm in winter, and thick walls will help keep it cooler in summer I am sure. I'm a big fan of this large comfortable apartment!

An excellent apartment. Lots of room for all of our party, which varied from 4 to 6. adults. The terrrace (whilst not entirely private) was a marvellous place to spend the evening. Beaucaire is a lovely place to base yourself for exploring this part of France. We spent 2 weeks here and visited some of the touristy sites (Arles, Nimes, Avignon etc.) We were lucky when we went to Uzes as the bull running was on. I would have no hesitation in recommending this property.

What fabulous accomodation. Cool tiles floors were a godsend as Beaucaire was 31 deg C this week in June. Good location for connecting to trains to historic roman towns Arles, Avignon, Nimes. Good choice of pavement cafes. Highly recommend it.

I just wanted to thank you for renting us such a
lovely place. It was comfortable, spacious, full of
light and color even on the (unfortunately) grey
days. Beaucaire turned out to be a rather
interesting town. Interestingly, it seems much
happier than Tarascon. But we enjoyed walking
around both towns, and found the location to be
incredibly convenient for our travels either north or
south.
Although I have been in France many times, I did
not know Provence at all, and now that I have
experienced a bit of it, I will absolutely have to
come back again (and again).
The Forrestals were very helpful and as I said
above, the apartment is even nicer than your
descriptions and photos showed online. I would
certainly be glad to serve as a reference for anyone
thinking of renting, and thank you again for
allowing us to share your Beaucaire world.

We enjoyed our stay in December/January 07/08 in this lovely apartment in Beaucaire. Not only is the apartment very well situated in the heart of Provence with easy access to the beautiful towns of Nimes, Avignon, Arles and the Camargue but it is also very nicely furnished and offers everything needed to make a stay convenient and memorable. We also had the good luck to meet the owners, Madeleine, Barney (and Gloria, such a sweet lady!)and received lots of useful information over a glass of local wine! Thanks for everything and we hope to be able to come back.

Very happy with the apartment, which was roomy, comfortable, quiet and well located (if a little tricky to drive in to!). Also very well equipped with plenty of reading material, reference books for the area, and access to the internet. Although not a lot to see in Beaucaire itself, it's a handy base for exploring the area - we had some great visits to Avignon, Arles, Pont du Gard, Chateau de Beaux, etc, etc, which were all very interesting with great scenery. A large Carrefours supermarket was easy to get to on the way back in to Beaucaire after a day's sightseeing, and perfect for stocking up and enjoying great meals back at the apartment - very handy if you have kids and find eating out a challenge. The apartment also catered well for children with high chair and cot. Lisa and John were very friendly and helpful, making the whole experience very enjoyable!

We had a great 4 nights at the apartment. It was very spacious and comfortable. We loved visiting the bar at the square round the corner before dinner and found the town to be friendly and interesting. The Sunday food market in the square was lovely. Beaucaire was quite different to a lot of places we visited but some of our happiest memories are from this untouristy town. We feel very lucky that we found such a nice place to stay in a really interesting French town. We're sure we will return.

Madeline & Barney,
Our short time in Beaucaire was made all the more enjoyable by the comfort and charm of your apartment. We thoroughly enjoyed the terrace, as the weather was perfect.
John & Lisa were more than helpful, and very accommodating to our VERY early departure time.
Thank you again,

I stayed in the Lehrer's flat for six months over the winter and had a great time. Much more luxurious than living at home!
