We were in İzmir for a few days and wanted to stay in Alsancak this time. From there we used the ferry boat and the metro. Thanks to the good reviews, we decided to stay at the Hay Hotel. We were satisfied and felt safe. You can only get into the room with the room card via the elevator. The breakfast was sufficient and we liked it. The room was clean and the beds comfortable.

The only drawback, which was not different in any smaller hotel in Turkey, is the isolation. Inside you didn't hear much from the neighbors. However, you could hear everything from the street. Unfortunately, this safe didn't work and the doorknob on the toilet door fell out. Nevertheless, we would recommend the hotel and come back.

It was nice and clean and our room was very comfortable. The shower had good water pressure. The bed was comfortable. The breakfasts were very nice with many choices.

Responsive and helpful staff. Clean and new rooms and bathroom. We had a tiny problem with the lights in the room and they solved it immediately.

The street was quite noisy, but it was expected, given the location.

Location was perfect. Right next to a long promenade that had plenty of cafes, restaurants, shops and supermarket. We absolutely recommend exploring the side streets here at night as there were great bars on every corner with a buzzing atmosphere. The view was great overlooking the harbour from our room and you can reach it by foot in less than 5 minutes. You can also catch a ferry from the harbour and visit Karsikaya which was a great sea side town worth a visit! Room was a little small but served its purpose and more importantly it was clean with a nice big shower, modern and a very comfortable bed! There is a lift in the hotel which was super convenient for our bags and the reception staff were very friendly. One night I was sitting outside having a cigarette and the receptionist gave me a free coffee which was so sweet. Would definitely come back here if we return to Izmir and the price is affordable. Thank you!

I did not want to write this comment, but I was forced as I encountered a problem in the Irish restaurant .. I paid by card and the amount was deducted, but they did not receive a notice of that because there was a defect in them bank , so they asked me to pay in cash. and i mentioned this note to the reception employee because the restaurant employee does not speak English and he told me that they will My returned my moeny , but unfortunately it did not happen, which means that I paid twice, although the amount is insignificant, but still it is mine it's 60$

The staff were very helpful and friendly, suggested us great places to eat nearby, helped with calling taxi and separate invoices, we felt welcome with all our requests. The breakfast was good as well as the service. The rooms were super clean.

Toilet not was clean, very cold they do not heat in Febeuary, room was not king deluxe,not same with my reservation, in photos not details same with reality, next day I'm check out.

Good location, great interiors, comfy bed, great bathroom, nice room service.

Rooms are on the smaller side. Sometimes there was cigarette smell from the ventilation. Breakfast gets repetitive on long stays. One key card, although 2 people stayed in the room. It's loud all night if you keep the window open. Wi-Fi is around 5 megabits/sec.

Great location, very clean room, friendly staff

No internet connection on any devices. Tea, coffee and water provided for breakfast, but we have been charged extra for juice.

We loved our stay here! Upon check-in we were greeted by the friendliest people. All speak English really well. They do there best to make you feel welcome and they were kind enough to upgrade us. There is an Irish Pub connected to the hotel with super nice, friendly people. Would definitely stay here again. Izmir is so beautiful!!!

Everything is wonderful here. It does get loud so bring some ear plugs but other than that, it's a don't miss!

Really nice hotel in a great location. Very comfortable beds with a great breakfast and very modern bathroom. The room was very spacious and the hotel staff were helpful with any requests.

Small room

Location is good: near the seaside, near the ferry, railway station also near. Bar street also near, big variety of restaurants and bars. Rooms had modern design

even with closed windows you can hear noise from the street. We chose a non-smoking room, but the smell of cigarette smoke was still present in the room
