Friendly staff near the beach if you want to jump in the lake. About a 10 minute walk from to the bus stop or 15 minute walk to the boat stop. Many restaurants and shops nearby.

Room was clean and staff were very friendly. Pool area was clean and towels provided. Excellent location in the middle of the town and close to restaurants and shops. Room size was good and nice to have a balcony.

Limited parking available. WiFi connection was very poor in our room. The double bed was two single beds pushed together with entirely separate bedding. More plug sockets in the room would have also been helpful.

Great location. Quiet spot but close to the centre and the beach. Really friendly and helpful staff. The rooms aren’t the largest but there is lots storage and places to put things.

Great strategic position, nice view from the front oriented rooms, pool and sunbeds, 2 mins walk to the beach, 4 mins to the centre. Number of restaurants nearby. Most of the guest cars fit into the garage right under the hotel garden. Rooms are small, but smartly arranged, very clean, comfy bed. Nice and helpful operators.

No breakfast nor other catering were available on site (lack of personnel after covid they said). Just a self-service from a fridge and coffee machine in a lobby (fair price). The alternative optional breakfast buffet in a sister hotel was nice, hence costly and 700m away. So we mostly walked into the centre and had a small breakfast with local people in a cafeteria. No fridge in rooms. In case you use different @ address to register for wifi than the one used for his reservation, you end up receiving questionnaires to both, which is somewhat annoying. Combined with those from Booking.com I have got 15 (fifteen!) emails asking for feed-back...

You have to love this hotel for its atmosphere. The staff gave us a warm welcome, and the "Luna Rossa family" was so friendly and nice to us. Always helpful. Perfect location. Near everything, but very calm and peaceful, no traffic noise. The breakfast was just fantastic. We had to leave early for our flight home, and they prepared a nice take away breakfast for us. Thank you again :) The room was very clean, spotless! Comfortable beds. Not the biggest room, but ok. You rather want to sit in the peaceful garden enjoying the nice view to the old Castle anyway. We visited the restaurant in the sisterhotell Primaluna for dinner two times and it was a really nice restaurant with great food. Loved it! We hope to come back to Malcesine and Luna Rossa one day. We had a fantastic week there.

- Very central location. - Very near to the old historic centre and castle of Malcesine, We knew it wasn't that far from the centre, but that it was that close was a nice surprise. - Very close to the Monte Baldo cable lift and mountain (e-)bike renting shop(s). - Very clean room and property in general. - Large balcony on the room. - Parking included in the price and on-site. - Very nice breakfast buffet. - Very nice, quit, guests. - Enough pool chairs and free use of cushions.

Room: - We missed a bit a good view on the Lake Garda from our balcony: we love to sit on the balcony eg in the early evening and enjoy the view on the lake. Therefore while booking via booking.com I explicitly asked for a room with a view on the lake and the pool (= meaning one of the room on the front of the hotel), I also asked the property via booking.com messaging if it was possible to confirm we would have a room on the 2nd floor. We didn't get a real reply on this question, except for a reply that indicated that we should book directly with the property to be sure to get that kind of room. However we didn't do that and booked via booking.com ... unfortunately we didn't get a room on the 2nd, but on the 1st floor. Tip: perhaps it would be good if you could book via booking.com a specific room, like you are able reserve online a specific seat in a cinema for example. Now you can only select a type of room, but in fact you never are sure in which room you end up. That is, put all individual rooms with photo's available on booking.com and let people pick a specific room. - The photo's on booking.com are a bit misleading. The most pictures are frontal pictures of the hotel showing the rooms with their balconies, but the pictures don't really show that partially in front of the hotel's garden you have another hotel (Castell), blocking a large part of the frontal view on lake Garda. The hotel has also an annex behind the main property with rooms with balconies. However those photos don't really show that those balconies overlook the back of the hotel. - Mini-bar: no mini-bar to keep things cool. - Location: on the 1st- floor, just in front of the stairs and a vending machine, next to the elevator, Not the most quiet location, but at night it doesn't bother me because I sleep with ear plugs. PS. My wife, sleeping without ear plugs, said it was very quiet at night (I assume she's right ;-)).
