Localização e atividades para crianças.

Indicam que não cobram por crianças até 12anos mas infelizmente há sempre taxas e neste caso foi uma criança de 2 anos e outra de meses.

É um local muito bonito, com boas instalações, mas com poucas opções de lazer, mesmo sendo um clube de campo. Tem uma área de piscina aquecida muito boa.

Tudo tem cobrança extra, um passeio de charrete, bicicleta, para usar a piscina tem que usar touca e como ninguém anda com touca, tem que comprar. Mas o pior foi o jantar a lá carte, comida horrível, mas muito ruim mesmo. Falha gravíssima, ainda mais que estamos em Portugal, onde se come bem em qualquer tasquinha de esquina. Tem que mudar o cardápio e o chef. Uma pena, pois para mim estragou a estadia, pois esperava jantar uma boa comida. Por sorte descobrimos um restaurante local perto do hotel, muito bom.

We were there during the summer and watched a beautiful sunset while having dinner at the porch of the restaurant. Good food, nice staff, many options on what to do, including pedal kart and a visit to the winery.

The wine itself was disappointing.

Food, need to improve the quality and variability

The property has beautiful surroundings, there are a lot of activities to do (although we didn't do much), the pool is nice (both adult and kids' pool). The spa has an indoor pool that anyone can use as long as they book the time and use a swimming cap and that is good for off season stays when weather can be nos so pleasant outside. The club for the kids seemed quite dynamic, although my kids just wanted to stay around the pool. The little farm area is great for kids, and the feeding the animal's is a great moment for kids to be closer to them. There are some activities that are payed and looked great, however we only stayed for 2 days and were so tired that we just enjoyed the central area. Restaurant has plenty options for lunch, including kids menu, and for dinner although we have to book in advance the time for us to seat in, it was well organised and even when a lot of guests were in the room, there was always plenty food and all very tasty.

The room cleaning staff did the best they could, but there was one day we ended not having the room cleaned since it was 18:00 and they haven't been there. Perhaps they were a bit understaffed at the moment. We enjoyed everything, however one small thing was not as we expected. The rooms all have a small terrace where a couple of chairs and a table (or even only the chairs) would make a great asset. We felt the need to have a place to seat on the terrace and enjoy the tranquility of the place. We could see why some people would pull the room (large and heavy) chairs outside, but that could be easily solved and it is a pitty. Other thing is that for a property with 80 rooms (at least that is whats advertised) the pool area seems small if during the summer they ever get full booked. There are not many options for guests to seat and relax, and chairs/table in rooms' terrace would solve a bit this possible issue. Other than that everything was great!

Poor quality bedding, pillows very uncomfortable. Shower installation of a 3 stars. The quality of the Buffet is very poor, the food is already cold from the counter. Overall, very bad food!
