clean, nice, good value for money

Rooms don't have fully aircon, only fan was provided. Rooms to the front have lot's of traffic noise...

I liked the food and the room, it was clean.

I didn't like the staff. They didn't speak english and were not at all hospitable.

The check- in guy was amazingly helpful ( I didn't get his name).. The rooms are huge and the breakfast good and filling. Plenty of cheap parking outside the hotel, also tram stops right outside.

All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was very clean and well serviced every day. A good and varied buffet breakfast was provided.

It would be nice to have a kettle and coffee/tea available in your room which is commonplace in hotels these days, but not at the Seaside.

We booked the Premium room and there were no amenities in the place. The hotel is also rated as a 4 star hotel which is far from the truth.

WIfi was very bad

I have done a lot of business travels in my life, including Eastern Europe, but this was for sure the most unpleasant experience in my life when it comes to hotel nights. Although images online and reviews looked good, I was totally surprised by the look of the building at arrival. It is a typical 15 floor straight building but I guess at least 40 years old. I received my key from the nice operator and when I received at my floor, the air was old and smelly, despite new carpets and painting. Entering the room this air smell didn’t get much better. I opened windows to have the room ventilated. Unfortunately there were 2 big flies in my room, lucky the day still on the wall. Bag the idea of having 2 big flies in my room made me shiver. I checked the rest of the room if there was nothing to lay rotten or something. Everything looked new and clean but the bed gave a weird smell as well. I can only hope that I did not sleep in a bed where somebody died or something. I have traveled many times to Poland but this was the first time to Czech Republic, I will never ever use this hotel again. Definitely overpriced for an old and dirty restored hotel. Oh, and don’t fall for the name Seaside or Residence. It’s a well invented scam.
