Great location and facilities and very friendly staff. Public transport and external thermal bath (200m) included as well as excellent breakfast. Top price-quality ratio!

It was all very enjoyable. The breakfast was extremely bountiful. The room was spacious (junior suite) and comfortable, as where the beds. The location was quite central. The spa and pools were delightful. The personnel were very accommodating. It was enjoyable. We were even able to have coffee and cake up where the pool was. Fun!

We reserved a table for a birthday breakfast and it was set up the night before. When our party came down, another large group took it and there was nothing to do but push tables together for us. The waiter the night before was GREAT and set our birthday dinner table up for us and promised to have it set up for the next morning. When we came down, our number was moved and even with apologies, it was disappointing to have to sit where we did not plan to.

A beautiful hotel in an excellent location - the spa around the corner, pretty little town with nice local restaurants and friendly shopkeepers. Well worth the extra- effort to get there. Also excellent breakfast in a beautiful room.

The rooms are missing a coffee maker or even a kettle for tea. There is no option to enter the thermal facilities on the check out day.

Wifi very slow. Enough to read your email or light browsing, but that's about it. Preferred to stay on 4G as it was way faster. None of the staff could speak English. Some of them tried (and failed), others simply said they don't know. How is that possible?! To get a job at a huge 5* hotel and not know how to speak English, not even a bit :( No room AC. Rooms get pretty hot during Summer (was there in July). I've never been in a 5* hotel without any AC in the room. I wanted to book a massage at the hotel SPA (they advertised a large collection of massages & treatments). I had to speak to 3 people on the staff until someone understood what I wanted (English is not spoken at this hotel). After finally booking the massage, the next morning they canceled my appointment 2 hours before and they were not able to rebook it for the rest of my stay there :( Not a 5* experience. Very disappointed.

Beautiful location on the river and lovely grounds. Good breakfast and spa area and pool on top floor are lovely. Restaurant service better than reception staff but food isn’t very good unfortunately. Clean, well maintained rooms although no ventilation.

Service quality is overall lacklustre and not what you would expect of a five star international hotel. Most staff don’t speak English and there is very little communication at check in or written information in the room about basic things like breakfast time, checkout, the need to get a special token to access the thermal pools etc. and you need to go and ask all these things to reception. Maybe the service is better for German speakers but at the very least the hotel should provide a written notice of key points in English for all international guests to make things a lot easier. Staff generally did the minimum, while a few were friendly and made an effort. Also no one tells you that the room key doesn’t open the underground parking garage and you have to buzz and wait for someone to let you in. Would have been nice to have a kettle and basic tea and coffee facilities in the room.

Location, pool, good breakfast

Some check-in staff were appallingly rude as well as incompetent (it took us 2 and a half hours to get a room!). the hotel made bookings for restaurants on our behalf but booked the wrong restaurant on the 1st night and actually booked for us to eat in the same restaurant twice (which we didn’t ask them to do) and then cancelled the second night’s restaurant booking leaving our group of 10 without a dinner reservation. Our room did not have a functioning air conditioning system - no apology for it not working - we were given a fan! other friends had the same problem with faulty air conditioning - it is supposed to be a 5* hotel but it doesn’t deliver 5* service which is a pity. Not one of our group of 10 were given details at check-in about any of the facilities. There is a nearby spa and pool (it’s lovely). we weren’t told about how to get there (it’s a 5 minute walk away). Neither were we told that you had to get a red token from reception to access the facilities. So after some of the group found the pool, they were sent back to reception to get the magic red token to be given access. These are all small things which could so easily be sorted but the check-in process was inefficient, unfriendly and unhelpful. one member of staff was visibly angry with us when we explained that our room for 3 people (family) could only accommodate 2 of us. she was actually bashing her forehand into her forehead in agitation and stormed away from reception and slammed a door!!!

There were no terrible issues, but some details not expected in a 5-Star hotel: 1) We requested for a COT (baby bed), we had to ask for it 3 times. 2) 1st night, baby wet the sheets, we put them together with some towels for change. Cleaning team put new towels but REUSED the wet cot sheet. 3) Many hairs on the floor of the bathroom when we entered the room and spider web in the balcony. 4) The water in the bad in the garden has big living worms, we realized after our baby put his toes in the water. 5) Coffee machine in the room would be a great asset

In the first night I woke up in the middle of the night because it was so warm the room without air conditioner. At 2 o’clock we moved room with the baby. at least in the new one was air conditioner. late check out 60 euro per person it’s pretty expensive

- cleanliness - location - breakfast with good options for different needs

- some decor felt sterile that it lacked character - service. I checked in around 9:30p and staff were so unhelpful that I didn’t feel like it was 5 or not even 4 stars - requested simple things like I’d need bathtub bc of my partner’s need, and since it was a surprise gift for her 40th b day, would have loved whatever treatment for special care for such occasion. they responded promisingly, but when I get there, all requests completely shunned and ignored. disappointing. sure they weren’t responsible for anything I requested but I didn’t ask much and if they claim 5 star then my requests should be no big deal at all. - bar menu was hardly edible. we had no choice so we slammed it into our mouth just to survive.

Staff were incompetent, over charged us for room service (double charge of our whole meal €40 extra). Bath jets kept going off every half an hour. At first tried to give us the wrong room after we booked a junior deluxe suite. Didnt tell us important information like Toskana spa tokens can only be used on your first day of stay - instead of second day.
