L'emplacement même si l'aéroport est bruyant
Les chambres du rez-de-chaussée sans voilage ou vous avez le passage vers la réception le bruit du café. Pour un 4 étoiles pas normal
Une lampe de chevet débranchée qui ne fonctionne pas et pourtant j'ai payé le prix complet pas une réduction. Je n'y retournerai pas il y a mieux pas très loin
Le frigo ne fonctionne pas ...bref j'avais l'impression d'avoir payé un séjour low cost . Par contre personnel très sympathique et professionnel

- je viens depuis quelques années au RoyalMar.
En pleine saison, quelques jours ai pu y dépenser plus 600 euros l’été dernier.
Lors de mon séjour, d’hier 8-9 mai, on m’a demandé à peine arrivé une pré autorisation de 100 euros « au cas où il y ait des vols ».
J’ai trouvé cela étonnant, et pas digne d’un quatre étoiles vis à vis de ses clients connus en fichier.
J’ai pensé que c’était ma tenue à l’arrivée qui avait provoque cette requête ; j’espère honnêtement que non.
Le matin, ai demandé s’il était possible d’avoir un late check out et partir à 15h au lieu de 11h. « Impossible on est complet ». Je demandais simplement de partir quelques heures plus tard, et m’étais permis de demander car cette option était affichée au dos de la porte en chambre. Refus exprimé très promptement également.
Je suis assez déçu, et ne me suis pas senti accueilli.
Le ménage était correct, mais il y avait une épingle à cheveux sous la couette, et une tétine d’enfant sous le lit, et des morceaux d’emballage.
J’avais passé un Excellent séjour de quatre nuits l’été dernier, et cette fois si je repars un peu contrarié.

L'emplacement, le personnel était agréable.
Notre chambre était située dans le bâtiment annexe.Elle était confortable et doté d'un petit balcon.
L'équipement TV ancien.
Il manquait un rideau au niveau d'une fenêtre.

Location was great
Everytime the next room slammed the door which was everytime, it shook our walls !!
Our bed was against the wall and the vibration went thru the bed too!!
The bed was pushed into a corner so you couldn't walk down either side 1 person had to climb over.
Room wasn't cleaned 1 day so no clean towels, also no clean cups or glasses and no detergent or dishcloths etc to clean them ourselves.
The room had a self catering kitchen in it but we were told it's not in use!! Sink tap to fill kettle etc was nearly completely blocked and only dribbled out . Staff not very accomadating when asked for clean towels and clean cups when the room was meant to be cleaned daily.
They said if we were going out for a while they would get the cleaners to come in and do our room but that didnt happen either!!
Also bathroom was not cleaned properly when we checked in.
Shower drain was blocked so shower flooded everytime.
Outdoor furniture not clean either.
Quite disappointing.

Friendly and welcoming staff. A minute walk from the see. Rooms were clean. Modern bathroom.
We had to change room after one night, but we received an upgrade. In the room there were coffee pads, but no coffee machine.

I was on the first floor.. could not open the curtain because it is overlooking the garden and people were sitting there.. the price was very high for the room we got

Sad to say only the view. The rest was a disaster
Air con did not work for the first 2 days. No hot water for the second 2 days. Balcony was dirty. Water and coffee never got replaced. The list goes on. Anyone thinking of staying here…….DON’T it’s a bloody disaster. The photo I’m showing is after our room had been cleaned. Oh should mention no fire escapes and the fire doors on the landings are wedged open 24 hours a day. Totally awful hotel.

I liked the premises, the scenery and the staff, very friendly. The room was nice and overlooking the sea, but just a little small; the bathroom on the other hand wasn't very appealing as it didnt appear very clean (the odor wasn't pleasant at all). There was an espresso maker, a kettle and a fridge. Parking space just by the entrance. Everything pretty much as described prior to booking. The location is top, no shortage of bistrots, caffeteria, restaurants...

The location was quite good, although it was raining all the time and we could not enjoy it. But the location is perfect.
The photos don't correspond to the room we were assigned. It was an old fashioned room with cigarettes smell what was quite unpleasant and the clean was not good also. A lot of dust everywhere and near the fridge it´s quite dirty.
There was no hairdryer also.

The Royalmar is superbly located, it is a true pleasure that the hotel is almost waterfront, so close to the beach. Great location for cyclists, joggers, roller skaters. Also, in that area it is important that it has a car park. Although the sea view rooms overlook the busy coastal road, the balcony doors block the noise of traffic and in the evening sitting on the balcony for a nightcap is a big plus. I appreciated the hotel restaurant, the bar and the outside terrace with sea view. The staff are very pleasant and helpful

The location was our main reason to book.
Disappointing... But we were warned in other Booking comments. Room is dated. The bathroom needs a good cleanup to remove all the mouldy silicon or black tile joints, not very welcoming... It was not particularly clean (hairs on floor and in bath). Huge bath and sink (bunged up!) and also a shower (large gaps in shower doors so water all over the floor after a shower). Big bathroom but no room to move in the bedroom. Window in bedroom stuck, only one side opens. Bed was worse for wear, sagging in the middle. Sorry, but I agree this is not worthy of four stars, hardly two. A pity,

After an owful start with a very unwelcoming recepionist, lucky for me, the manager stood up and handled my problem, helped alot, I stayed 3 extra nights, and got the room I was expacting, In the building I was expecting.
Resturant is amazing
A frustrated recepcionist can easily spoil you mood, unlucky for me, I found one in this hotel

it was a nice place near to the boulevard and the sea. The room had a wonderful view on the sea and was tastefully furnished.
But the reception was terrible. it took at least half an hour before they could help us. The restaurant had nothing to do with the hotel but the next morning our breakfast was in the restaurant. so we didn’t feel very welcome and well served.
