Nicely located in Levanto - itself a pretty beachfront town and easily accessible by train to the Cinq Terre. Very agreeable clean and well appointed room and bathroom. Beautiful floor tiles. Nice gardens also to chill.

Helpful and friendly english-speaking staff. We were two couples in rooms 3 and 4, enjoying the spacious rooms and wonderful garden outside the rooms. Very nice and quiet situation with short distance to station and the restaurants and bars of Levanto.

Villa Margherita is a small, family-run and cosy hotel with a very central location, about a 10 minutes walk from the station of Levanto from where there are excellent connections to the Cinque Terre-villages, La Spezia and towards Genova. The breakfast is rich and fine according to italian standards, but still a little on the sweet side as a typical italian breakfast. Our room was spacious and had a small balcony with a very nice view of the town of Levanto, the mountains and the sea. We were more than satisfied with our stay in Villa Margherita and will definitely consider staying there again on our next journey to the Cinque Terre.

I would find it nice if the different kinds of croissants for the breakfast were less sweet, but then again; it is a matter of taste and a very small thing indeed. 😊

Rooms were very clean and the property was an easy walk to town and convenient to the train. Breakfast was tasty.

Beds were a little to hard for me but I tend to need a pillow top mattress for my old bones

I though it was very charming, clean and comfortable. It even had an elevator, very convenient when traveling with large luggage. Rooms were pretty spacious and very well kept. Walking distance (about 5 min) from center of town.

All the staff were courteous and friendly. The property is a beautiful garden, three levels with a spectacular view. Elevator for this who need one. The rooms beautifully decorated, lovely comfortable beds and large bathroom in our suite. The breakfast was the best I’ve had in Italy.

We booked very spontaneous (like 10mins before arrival) and got a tiny little, bit very clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was awesome.

Parking is slightly on the expensive side.

Check in lady was super nice, told us a lot about the town. We arrived early and we were able to have our room 15 minutes after we arrived which was amazing. The town is pretty flat also so getting here was not a mansion. Close to the train station and the beach. The breakfast was actually amazing. We can’t eat gluten and there was so many options for us. The lady made us a deliscious cappuccino also

I loved the villa itself, the location up the hill but only a short walk to the beach and Levanto town center. It was peaceful and quiet for sleeping. My room and bathroom were small but spotless and cozy, with everything I needed (effective a/c, fridge) and a beautiful view of the mountains. I savored my breakfast on the terrace looking at the sea, and wish I could experience that every day. The staff and owners were lovely, helpful, informed and friendly. I thank them for their local touristing advice, which was spot-on. The cat didn't really like me, but that is most cats for me. I would highly recommend Villa Margherita and hope I can visit again some day.

Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfasts were superb! It's a beautiful property, inside and out! Seven minutes walk from train station and about the same or less to the restaurants of Levanto. We would absolutely stay there again!

Amazing garden, with lounge furniture to relax.

The building is very atmospheric and grandiose. The staff were excellent and Our room has a nice balcony with a view of the sea in the distance.

It is quite noisy at night by a main road and the seagulls seem to squawk all night.

Lots of steps… but it is on a hill!

Under 10 minute walk to train station and downtown. This was a great location to see the Cinque Terre as the train runs from Levanto to La Spezia and the 5 villages are in between. Location was perfect for our trip. We did the walk to Bonassola as well… under 30 min and well worth it.
