Very rude staff

I had booked via booking but some how it wasn’t showing in their booking list. I booked directly via hotel at the reception. Morning when the staff changed & my booking some how showed in their system & they deducted my money for booking.com reservation too. I have been chasing them for a refund but due to their lethargic policies my refund is still under approval process.

Very good value for money for a last minute overnight stay and loved the clean white sheets and clean bathroom and comfortable bed. Perfect for our needs that night.

Good location for accessing the motorway. It was very cheap for a night.

Rooms were only “ok” - what I’ve come to expect from the Britannia chain. Another nearby room decided to have a loud party all night and there was a persistent ringing outside all night. Did not get a good sleep. The staff were also really blunt and rude. I wouldn’t bother going there again, not even for the cheap price.

When enter the entrance, it was unclean with cigarette buds all over the floor. There was broken leather sofas everywhere. Was very outdated. The room was basic but not very well cleaned. Beard hairs or something over the floor. Beds were rock solid. Would not go back.

No hot water for a shower

Toilet did not flush, no running water, staff rude and rushed off to room. Key card didn't work 6 times to be told if I have to do this again it must be a broken door!! Two way mirrors and creepy halls leading to diserted parts of hotel... Uk's cecil hotel!!

Manners, cleanliness and just overall the whole stay could of beeen better! Stayed at travellodge thhe previous night and that was 10/10...this place wow
