Perfect location for everything………

Very cosy and familiar hotel. Liked the detail of having books to borrow to the guests and beach toys for the children. Supermarket and bakery just around the corner.

The room was very nice, but the shower is a bit small.

Don’t expect super modern, but you will get super clean and super friendly. Rooms are dated but bed linen is changed every day and the room and bathroom cleaned daily. Lovely spot close to superb beach. Buses run from the main road to Aegina Port. But after September 28th the last one back was at 2.30 so not ideal if you want a whole day at the port - obviously this is not the fault of the hotel but worth knowing.

Fantastic place, comfortable room that had everything you needed, kettle with tea/coffee, space for clothing, great shower, nice breakfast, strong wifi, lovely hosts. Swimming pool was down the road at the family pool bar, all was perfect.

TV reception wasn't good but that didn't bother me.

In our room the wifi was a little bit slow.

The staff are all lovely and couldn’t be more helpful and welcoming. The location is perfect. Free use of the pool - nice pool and positive vibes. Rooms are super clean. Brilliant quality for money.

I stayed at Angela Hotel with my Mum and sister and our experience surpassed our expectations! Giota, the owner was incredibly kind and helpful, nothing was too much for her and she was always friendly and smiling. The breakfast was fantastic! Each day there was something different such as a cheese pie, doughnuts or omlette as well as all the usual daily food with lovely fresh tomatoes, bread, ham, cheese, eggs and a huge selection of jams and cereals. The coffee was also delicious. The rooms had everything you need and were impeccably clean; new sheets and towels were provided each day. The mattress was unbelievably comfortable and the AC was fully functional without any noise disruption. Leaving a chopping board and a bottle opener in the room was a nice touch, making it easy to have your own drinks/ food on the balcony if that's your thing. In terms of location, Angela Hotel is perfectly placed just off the main street so everything is walkable (including the pool which is a four minute walk away). There is a little supermarket at the end of the road to buy water and anything else you might need. Despite being so close to the main drag, the hotel was quiet and peaceful and other guests were friendly and respectful. I would recommend hiring a car (Giota can help you). We drove to Aegina to see the Temple of Apollo and to Perdika where we got the boat to Moni island. Locating and feeding the deer was one of the highlights of the holiday for me. The Temple of Aphaia is a 5 minute drive away from the hotel (or 30 minute walk) and well worth a visit. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Aegina, In my opinion, it deserves much more than one star. Thank you to Giota, her mother and the rest fo the staff for a wonderful holiday, we can't wait to come back!

The location was excellent, 2 mins to supermarket and 5 minutes walk to beach & restaurants. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good.

We felt restricted at breakfast by being served. We feel COVID should not still be impacting on self service.

The proximity to everything I wanted to see and do in Agia Marina. When the taxi dropped me on the main street at the corner of the street on which Angela Hotel is located, I thought there was an uphill walk awaiting. But Angela is just steps from that corner. There's PLENTY of dining nearby and a grocery market just steps from the hotel. The beach is a very short walk - you can be there within minutes of checking in to your room My room was comfortable and quiet with a balcony to sit on or to dry wet beach clothes. I don't recall hearing any of the other guests, except at breakfast. The homemade cakes - especially the Strawberry cake - were delicious. Giota was helpful in everything from answering my questions to helping me rent a car for the day. I would not hesitate staying at Angela again, and I would recommend anybody looking for clean, comfortable and convenient stay here. Why pay more at another place when all you really need is here?
