Great location, but most of all the owner was so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for her, she even ironed my clothes for me.

The bathroom could do with an update, as could the TV.

The location was good, not enough parking spaces, we parked the car a few minutes from the location of where we stayed, that may not always be the case once the nursery is being used. The staff were very friendly.

No water to have a drink, the bathroom/ shower was exceedingly small, it was a good job that I had brought some shower gels with me otherwise we couldn’t of showered properly. The room was on the main road which made it very difficult to sleep because of the constant sound of the traffic. The bed for two people to sleep in was very small which also made it uncomfortable to sleep.

Great locations it was only 5 minute walk to the town centre. Loads of pubs, clubs and places to eat and our host recommended 3 or 4 places to eat. We were taking part in the Solihull half marathon and we were told there was no rush to check out so we could come back and shower which was very much appreciated Would definitely stay again

Really pleasant stay. Thankfully the room was north-facing, away from the road, which was a relief in the hot weather. It was well equipped with a desk for working at, tray in the shower to hold your shampoo, etc, good shower. You have use of a kitchen with tea & coffee + breakfast essentials. Staff v friendly & professional. Location is perfect - right next to station & 10mins from town centre & from the park

Friendly staff, Self service breakfast and tea and coffee. Room was clean and tidy and hotel was centrally located. Wifi was good. The hotel lived up to my expectations and will use again if in the area.

No kettle in the room but tea and coffee was available in the kitchen.

Great location but on a busy road so traffic noise is a factor

Was not advised that booking.com customers pay £7 parking from arrival until 10am check out. Online small print states “parking charges applicable” when I searched, but this was not mentioned at check in and we had to query via message to understand what the extra charge was for. But apparently direct bookings do not incur this parking charge. If we had known in advance we would have used the local car park, charge was £4.80. Transparency of this charge in advance (or just telling us on arrival) would have been better.
