Good restaurant GG for dinner. Nice poolside bar.
The nightclub next door on the Western boundary plays very loud music until the early hours of the morning. Constant reggae the sound of which can be heard in the block 100 rooms. No use complaining to Reception as they are powerless to ask that the music be turned down next door. Difficult to sleep if you score one of these rooms

Lovely comfortable rooms friendly staff
We were in block 1 by the water which was lovely but right next to the Kava Bar that partied loudly with music and yelling until early hours of the morning, so very little sleep for 4 nights on a work/humanitarian trip. After 3 nights I complained about the noise but staff said nothing could be done and as full, couldn’t move rooms.

The hotel was clean, tidy & well kept. The food was tasty and staff very friendly.
The wifi was slow (possibly a provider issue), and the free data allowance was not much, at 1.5Gb, with unlimited package option being very expensive.

This was a pocket of paradise in Honiara. Gorgeous lush gardens and stunning pool area. Absolute bliss
Nothing really.

It was very expensive

The breakfast was good although you had to pay for good coffee which I thought was not clever.
Staff were very helpful in supportive in helping us get onto the internet.
There coudl have bene better facilities near the pool, and the pool bar coudl have been better sorted - although I was aware it was not that busy.

Updated rooms, very comfortable with a nice ocean view.
Pool lounge chairs could use to be renewed but tables and chairs were nice.

Location was great. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Nearby restaurants and stores are within easy reach.
Food was average.

We understood there would be challenges with the supply of fresh produce and the state of the economy being so poor, therefore we appreciated that local fruit, vegetables and produce were cooked to perfection and presented very well - particularly the main meals. The coffee was good! Was a shame that many items on the menu were not available though. The staff were very friendly and obviously hard workers from the local area who tried hard but maybe could benefit from further customer service training?
Be prepared for a long bumpy road from the airport with the road full of potholes for most of the trip there. At the property, the area around the pool was in desperate need of maintenance. The timber decking was worn off and slippery and the poolside lounges were blackened from mould which could easily be cleaned / replaced to enhance that area. Food and drink service was extremely slow and disorganised, we were charged for food & drinks that were paid for at the time of consumption yet still ended up on our bill at the end. They also tried to charge for taxes twice. Check your bill! The smell in our room when we arrived was overwhelmingly musty and took 2 days to air out. A trip to the onsite beauty spa for a relaxing massage (which wasn't cheap!) was marred by the use of old towels with blobs of old nail polish on them and the smell of nail polish remover in a very small room was sickening. Overall, there are many small and not expensive changes that could be made to such a beautiful and historic venue to bring it back to being a more enjoyable experience for overseas travellers.

The Heritage hotel is located in the sea front. In Honiara, the sea front is not very appealing for swimming. Heritage hotel has a beautiful garden with frangipane trees and many birds. Rooms were facing the ocean. Beautiful decoration in the room, including fresh flowers.
The hotel is walking distance from all attractions: central market, post office, catolic church...
Continental buffet breakfast with good selection of food and drinks ( considering the difficulties to ship any products to Solomon islands).
The Heritage hotel was the old governor house...but renovation was so intense, that I could not recognize any old parts from the old building.
price is expensive for the general/ amount services available if we compare with other Asia countries.., but everything is expensive in Honiara ( logistic costs etc)

Nice pool and ocean view.
Staff especially at the restaurant not well trained. WiFi is not working or barely working.

Slightly on the expensive side for Honiara, but you get good quality for what you pay
