Wonderful place to stay in the middle of the serene Umbrian forest, yet only five minutes away from Assisi by car. Paolo was an extremely gracious host, very hospitable and welcoming, always ready with useful advice and helpful tips. Enjoyed our little chats with him in the morning, a very kind and accomodating host. The setting is so peaceful and quiet, absolutely breathtaking. We stayed in a studio apartment which was extremely affordable and had all the amenities necessary for a very comfortable stay. We had a fridge and kitchen sink, cutlery and plates, a hot plate and a microwave. Comfortable bathroom with good water pressure and ample hot water. Free WiFi was available, simply a must in the middle of a forest where mobile connection is extremely poor. Ample parking was available for our 4x4 vehicle. Loved the place, scenery and the local, somewhat wild cats who are very happy to barter cuddles for food scraps. Highly recommended. Do yourself a favour and stay here if you're looking for a peaceful stay in Umbria.

The scenery in this place is absolutely breathtaking. It feels so peaceful and relaxing and the town is so beautiful. The rooms are so stylish and relaxing. The best part was that the hosts made our stay super special, because they were friendly and always smiling.

The place has an amazing garden and is situated very close to Assisi. The appartments are sparkly clean and nicely decorated. Paolo is an excellent and generous host. We'll definitely be back.

Nice location, close to Assisi, but with parking and country quiet. Magnificent views of the monastery and countryside. Breakfast is extra but worth the price.

Everything  I spent one night and it was wonderful. Very clean and calm. I stayed in the suite and the jacuzzi is highly recommended 👌

The location was perfect for our needs. My son and daughter were at a nearby wedding venue, Castello di Petrata, and we were there to babysit for the night of the wedding. The venue was only 10 minutes away and was the closest accommodation to the venue. Superb views, comfortable accommodation and charming hosts. Convenient for Assisi and not too far from Perugia.

Beautifull apartment located in the old farmhouse within walking (although quite steep) distance to Assissi run by very friendly and extremely helpful owner. There are total of 3 apartments, each apt with its dedicated / outdoor space. The farmhouse seats in the large and well kept garden and boasts magnificent views. As its not close to the main road there is absolute silence both at day and night. Within the apartment (very, very clean) there is everything you need if you feel like cooking by yourselves. Dog friendly with plenty of space (on and off the premises) for your pet to roam. We will certainly be back

The location of this property is excellent! It is right below the hilltop town of Assisi and you can see the back of the Basilica as you drive in. The surroundings are very serene and relaxing. Yet, you are a quick drive to the historic center. Having the kitchenette was a great plus. We enjoyed wine and cheese on the patio in the evening. Paolo couldn’t be a more accommodating host! His friendly smile and welcoming disposition is what makes travel to the Italian countryside so wonderful. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We hope to return on our next visit!

Paolo and his family are amazing hosts: they provided us with everything we needed, they definitely exceeded our expectations! You'll find a perfectly clean room, equipped with all the amenities, in a fairytale place (a wood on a hill). In front of your room you will find an outdoor patio just for you (we opted for a take away dinner in order to enjoy the meal right there, it was so beautiful and peaceful we couldn't miss the opportunity). Also, breakfast was delicious 😋

We liked the breakfast. It was served in the garden, fresh sweet bakery, coffee is what we really like. We loved the beautiful garden with pretty flowers. We appreciated the attention to details that are always important to create sth stylish and luxurious like this place. It is immaculate, lovely and hospitable.
