Historical place.

This hotel with a great past is exclusively geared towards thermal cure guests. It is not suitable for families with children. The atmosphere is depressing. The restaurant offers only a mediocre buffet and closes at 20:30. After the first evening we decided to go for dinner to outside restaurants.

Location is perfect,but that it.This is big max 4 stars,not more.

Location, building and the area are great. Staff and room good. Easy parking.

Restaurant and food which was empty by 8pm and closed shortly after. Buffet food not 5* and very ordinary. Spa no swimming pools too small and jacuzzi barely warm.

The location, food and facilities were all fabulous! The room was elegantly decorated and well appointed with a double closet, coat rack, umbrellas, heated towel rack, robes, slippers... Everything you need is at your fingertips. The breakfast buffet offered lots of options, both hot and cold, and included custom made omelettes. All of the food was fresh and delicious! We loved soaking in the Roman Baths and taking saunas in the evening.

The Roman Baths and saunas were great, but there was no “hot tub.” The Roman Baths and tubs have luke warm water. It would’ve been nice to have a hot water pool for soaking.

Great location, historical place, a bit worn out (rooms on 1st floor), but overall well maintained. Food is Ok, convenient that they have half and full board with quite a good variety of food provided.

i guess the hotel needs a bit of renovation and maybe some modernisation of the menu. i guess the quality of food and coffee should be better for this level of the hotel

Fantastic hotel, beautiful spa, variety of spa services, historical place.

There's no room service for lunch and dinner. Would be good to have vending machine with some snacks/sandwiches to be able to get food 24/7. Also,vending machine with mineral and sparkling water in the Roman Bath would help.

we had a room with horrible smell in the bathroom which we were able to change only next day although there were free rooms when we asked the room temperature either too hot or too cold, could not regulate in the room only at the reception. children s room was cold and couldn t get heated :(

Dinner wasn’t tasty, not what you would expect from a 5-star hotel

Beautiful, well-equipped, best possible location in Mariansbad, courteous and attentive staff - and, of course, outstanding spa.

It was a five star hotel in the old style… very elegant. And we loved the Roman baths.

The evening meal was a buffet rather than a set menu or choice of a la carte items. Some of the staff could have been a little more welcoming, though all were helpful and the people at the front desk were excellent.

Amazing and incredible location. Rooms and facilities top notch. Excellent staff for all treatments. Would absolutely stay here again. If you're after relaxation and recovery it's worth it.

What I did not like was the dark-blonde woman who 'welcomed' me at reception. To be fair I was hot and flustered (tip...get a taxi from train station, the bus up the hill incredibly crowded, I was abused, shunted around with my luggage until I decided to just get off) and dressed in travel clothes. I produced my driver's licence and a print out of the booking details. She looked me up and down and told me there was no booking and called over another lady (much nicer) and the young concierge. I told her that this happens everywhere I go (I have an unusual and long name) and asked her to check again she was rude, repeatedly telling me I didn't have a booking and instead of just rechecking like I asked demanded I open my big suitcase to fish out my passport. Upon doing so and after more people to check-in were lining up behind me I got down on my knees opened my case, all my chargers and underwear rolled out, retrieved the passport, and just as I got back up off the floor to hand it to her she said 'oh we found it'. Absolutely could have lived without this rude and judgemental experience. All other staff exceptional.
