Room spacious and comfortable. Lovely (essential!) to be able to make own tea/coffee. Bathroom spacious, room well-appointed with plugs, lamps etc. Bed comfortable, quiet room. Staff friendly and helpful. Loved the homemade curry cooked on our second night... delightful.
I wouldn't say that there was anything I didn't like. The only thing they could possibly have improved on would have been a few more vegetarian options on the menu, and a few more 'light' meals. Having said that, my chicken was cooked without breadcrumbs as requested and I'm sure they would have made it into a big chicken salad had I asked. They were very accommodating with food prefs but no vegan and not a lot of vegetarian options. Otherwise very substantial and nice meals.

the rooms were quite spacious. the rooms had everything we needed. the bathrooms were very clean. the breakfasts were very good. also the evening meals we had were good and very tasty. very good value for money. the staff were very nice and helpful. Benny, Julie and Aaran were lovely hosts, making us feel really welcome. nothing was too much trouble for them. this was our third stay at the Brown Horse Hotel and we would stay there again.

The staff were all so welcoming and friendly. The dinner we had was very nice and tasty.
There was no hotel info in the room. It would have been nice to have information about dinner and breakfast options in the room. The table in the restaurant was sticky.

The beds were shockingly uncomfortable, with sheets that didn't fit and tired old pillows.

Friendly, polite, efficient staff who couldn't do enough for you. Very clean, comfortable rooms with everything you need and a good, powerful shower. Breakfasts top notch and again, nothing was too much trouble. We're just upset we missed the legendary carvery on Sunday!
All in all a very pleasant stay with great staff and friendly locals.

All went well.Young man Arran I think great asset to the hotel. Smart well mannered & very helpfull.

Benny and Julie are absolutely lovely hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them . Breakfast was exceptional. Don't get me started on Benny's curries - they were absolutely delicious. Thank you very much for your hospitality. Definitely going to come back soon. THANK YOU :)
The noise levels at night were a little loud for me - the creaking floor boards and the fast traffic woke me up numerous times!

The room was excellent and comfortable.The staff were very good and catered to our needs very well.We were there for a cycle race which meant our times were variable for meals etc and all the staff were very accomodating.

Dreadful smell of fat around the building!! It’s a roadside greasy spoon not a Hotel! Towels were wafer thin, bedding stained, pillows needed throwing out!! A shambles. Food was dreadful & we could not stomach greasy breakfast/ we paid upfront for this & did not take 6 breakfast. Would never venture near this dive again!!
