It was great we love foot bridge beach and ogunquit in general.

We had a trip to Europe planned for this summer, but Corona had other ideas. As soon as people from NH were allowed to rent in Maine, I started looking at houses in Ogunquit just so we could get away! We only live 30 minutes from there, but it was just far enough away that the week there was rejuvenating! This house is a very easy walk to what is now my favorite beach! You simply go down the street and around the corner and there you are ready to cross the Footbridge. This saves on parking, so that’s another convenience! The neighborhood is great! House are close to each other, but that’s the way it is at the beach! There are 3 parking spots at the house, which worked well for us as our children came back and forth from their summer jobs and we needed to have multiple cars. You can also get to town very easily. We brought our bikes, so we would ride the one mile there in the am for coffee and one morning stayed down there and walked The Marginal Way (we’ve done it so many times but it’s so gorgeous!). If you have bikes, I suggest you bring them. We rode the beach, too, on visits when we didn’t have all to our gear (a la just there for a walk). Speaking of walks, there is a community farm right in the backyard of the house, and we took walks there as well. We cooked about half of our meals there. The kitchen has a small oven and stovetop, but we did fine. There is also a grill that we used for some meals. There are restaurants across from the house in both directions and several in the mile between the house and downtown. Laura was a great communicator and sent me a whole list of places to eat and things to do. As I said, I live close by, so I now have some new favorites I can visit even when not on vacation! One tip: As described, there is no washer/dryer, but there is a laundromat very close by. I brought a rack and then visited midweek to refresh my towels. I can’t say it enough - this house was just what we needed! Everything was as described and the communication with Laura was top notch. Thank you for rescuing our summer!!

We have been coming to this property for a few years, and every year my family wants to keep coming back. The location is great, just up the road from the beach and around the corner from RT. 1 and lots of great restaurants. Even as my two boys get older with different options for vacation, their favorite vacation spot is right here near Footbridge Beach. Lots of great memories. Thanks for sharing your property.

The location was perfect (close to the beach and nice places to visit). The house was very clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful week there.

Nice cottage

My family loved staying here! The location was perfect because we spend a lot of time at happy hour and having dinner in Ogunquit after we spend the AM on the beach. We could walk to both the restaurants / shops AND the beach from here so the location was great. Parking was not a problem at all. There was plenty of parking (3 spots) for when we had friends and family visiting for the day. The house was very nice, everything worked, it was clean and although small, seemed very spacious. The kitchen held everything we needed and there was Netflix (etc) for when my kids got bored at night. The house was nice and cool from the two well running air conditioners. The beds were comfortable and in really good shape. There is a queen and then a twin over full bunkbed. These were more than adequate (however if you normally sleep in a king the queen will take a little adjustment). The owner was very easy to reach and very responsive and friendly! We wanted to stay longer but the home was booked, that should tell you all you need to know, people love this home!

Decent sized place located right near the ocean and not too far from the center of town either. Next to a couple of bars. Great location

This was our second time here and it was perfect! Clean and comfortable with all the conveniences of home. Fantastic location for walking to dinner/drinks or to the beach. It was 20 minutes from the golf courses we enjoy playing. After golf we went back and sat on the outside patio before heading out to dinner. I would highly recommend for a little R & R vacation.

We had a wonderful week at this nicely decorated, clean, cottage. It was a quick 8-10 minute walk to the footbridge beach, and had several good restaurants right around the corner. I also loved the gardens that are kaddy corner to the back yard. The house itself had a nice layout with the bedrooms downstairs and living space upstairs. The only thing I missed having was a washer/dryer or clothesline but picked up a drying rack for swimsuits at the store down the road. We really enjoyed grilling and eating on the outdoor patio, although the next house is very close, but it’s the beach. Will definitely consider returning next summer, thank you!

Hello ! We were very happy with the cottage. It was well cleaned on our arrival and we had all the necessities we needed. There seems to be a problem with ants. They come from the back porch...we had to kill a few... Thanks again ;)

This cottage is very cute and clean! Excellent location and perfect for a small family. The weather was so good we spent most of our days at the beach. However, we certainly appreciated the roku and DVD player in the evenings. An extra chair at the table for our fifth family member as well as a dishwasher and/ or laundry machines would have enhanced our stay. A dry rack outside for beach towels would have been appreciated. We certainly appreciated the copious parking and proximity to the trolley stop.

We can't wait to go back. It was just what we needed for a golf weekend. Very clean, beds were comfortable with a great patio and grill in back yard. Walking to distance to the beach, and restaurants. We truly had a great time.

Location is so close to the beach it is wonderful. Downtown is within reasonable walking distance and there are small shops everywhere to check out. Old orchard beach is only a half hourish drive and the property is kept up wonderfully.

The cottage was perfect for our family. We have three kids and liked having space for them to play outside and inside. The Beach Plum Farm was an added bonus to have right out back. We walked through there a few times, beautiful gardens and views. Having Footbridge Beach so close was really important and it's just a quick 3-5 minute walk!! No busy traffic to deal with. There's a trolley stop right nearby. We loved our week in this cottage is was super clean and accommodating. We will absolutely be back!!

Location was great. Wished both bedrooms had doors and that the grill was usable. Other than those two things the place was very comfortable.

We stayed for 1 wk at this cute home and overall enjoyed it very much because it met our needs. Water pressure in shower is very good; lots of windows for cross ventilation; it sleeps 7ppl which is a lot for such a small place but convenient if needed; having 3 parking spaces was also convenient; and the neighborhood is very nice. Great location just outside of downtown Ogunquit and the short walk to Footbridge Beach saved us $25/day for parking! Footbridge Beach has very clean water, great waves, a restroom and small shack for food. Another plus is that the owner, Laura, always replied to my emails very quickly. I didn't find the beds or futon to be comfortable but others did. FYI ... The bedrooms are on the lower level, below ground, so the windows are at ground level and only one BR has AC. A few tweaks could make this home more inviting ... clean ceiling fan, replace toaster and clean grill (they're both very dirty), expand TV service (there are very few stations available), paint back steps (their a mess), replace screen in back door (it's ripped), provide a Welcome manual on how to setup futon, what to do with trash, who to contact in an emergency, etc. My biggest disappointment was that it abuts a property (only a few feet from patio area) that is very run down and a bit creepy, especially at night. It also makes the back patio area uninviting to hangout. We're grateful that the home worked for what we needed it for but I'm not sure that we'd rent it again.

My extended family decided to rent several houses in the Footbridge Beach neighborhood for one week in August (2016). My husband, two sons (6 + 8) and I stayed in this cottage and we loved it! The bedrooms being downstairs and the common area upstairs was a perfect division in the usable space. The description I found on HomeAway was accurate and everything was just as it should be. The proximity to two trolley stops and Footbridge Beach was perfect! The kitchen was just right for the type of vacation meals that we wanted to prepare. All interaction (emails only) with the owner were friendly and stress free. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and family who are looking for a budget friendly beach vacation! We just got back from our vacation- what a great time! The cottage is so clean and fit our family of 5 perfectly. The house is conveniently located just a short walk to footbridge beach. Nice beach, not overly crowded! The trolley is a teeny tiny walk from the house - it will bring you to the center of town, Perkins cove, Marginal Way, restaurants, shops, Ice cream, etc! Our favorite places to eat: Cafe Prego, la Pizzaria, Cornerstone, Sweet Peas for ice cream, Cogduns for donuts. We did a finest kind cruise- excellent! Also the yorks wild kingdom was a great zoo! Thanks to the owners for being so hospitable!
