The room was comfortable, and clean. I did not have breakfast, so cannot comment.

No fault of the Guest house, but the road outside was very noisy at night.

Parking inadequate, had to park 2 thirds off a mile away and walk back bed and breakfast ,when i did get parked behind b and b the space was to small for car

The location: The property is close to the bus station, close to the city center and train station, 15-18 minutes' walk away. The room was cozy, I had a good sleep, the bed was comfortable, and the temperature of the room was fit to my preferences. The host provided enough information before the arrival, so the self-check-in was smooth. The price was fine.

The surprise came when I used the shower. I'm glad that the time when I had chosen to do it was not late at night as the pump of the instant hot water was noisy. Hopefully, it will be replaced soon or else all the other clients may know when the next client that will be accommodated in that room is having a shower.

The room was a lot bigger than I was expecting, and the beds were really comfortable. On arrival, the staff member was friendly and gave out some good advise on the available facilities close by.

The shower was a bit slow and not very warm, this might be because we had the attic room, and its a long way up from the ground. Also, the parking is limited to 3 spots, on a first come first served basis, but the spaces are small, and if other guests park a bit selfishly, then you can't get in the end bay. This is not meant as criticism, as the 2nd night we managed quite easily.

Good location within walking distance to university (2minutes) coach station (10minutes) and drake circus (10minutes). Easy check in and staff are friendly.

On a busy road so can be noisy from traffic for those that prefer quieter places unless you request to stay in a room facing the back garden/away from main road. Unfortunately developed bed bug bites my second night, having spotted a small bug in the sheets that looked different from a bed bug I didn’t question it but after research turns out it was indeed a bed bug. The day I checked out I was covered in more bites. Informed the guesthouse who assured me they would investigate. It’s a shame this happened but I was just unlucky during my stay here. The shower unfortunately had some hairs on the tiles from a previous resident but the toilet, sink and towels were clean.

The owner has ( limited) free parking at the rear of the property, so it was great not to have to have the hassle of finding somewhere to park. Clean room and towels. Decent size single room. The blind blocked the morning light well. The shower worked well and was hot. The TV was small but worked perfectly well. Guests can use a microwave - in a separate kitchen.

Mattress needs replacing, as it was not comfortable.

Breakfast was good value. The member of staff was friendly and helpful. Allowed me to park my vehicle early than booking time. And book in earlier. He told me places to visit i.e boat trip/water taxi ,local eating placesetc.I visited Plymouth to watch my football team, Ipswich Town. The host gave me directions to the football ground

Shower was dirty. The whole shower needed bleaching. Perhaps a wardrobe for hanging shirts, trousers instead of hooks and hangers. A bigger TV . Carpet worn out on stairway. Gave a bad impression. Door locks were a pain. Took me ages to unlock bedroom door

Room was lovely, nice view and spacious. Beds were a little firm but nice. Owner was nice and accommodating

In my room (8) the black out blind didn't block the sun from some angles so you get sun shining straight into your eyes if you're trying to sleep in.
