Inviting Lakeside Cottage for You
Bienvenido a nuestro pequeño pedazo de cielo en la prístina Embden Pond. Este lago largo 5 millas es perfecto para la natación, el canotaje y la pesca. Esta zona es una belleza natural de bosques, la fauna y ríos. Nuestra hoja de barco incluido hace que su navegación más fácil. Incluimos una barbacoa de carbón y las sillas del porche para disfrutar de la gran cubierta alrededor de la cabina.
Golf y Teatro de Verano Lakewood son las unidades de corta distancia. Una lavandería está cerca.

I love the area and the cabin is lovely. Great access to lake which is pristine. One of my favorite spots!

Overall the cabin was nice. Had plenty of supplies and the beds were comfortable. We didn't use all of the beds just a couple. The heavy traffic and speeding trucks were sort of scary. Wondered if they were going to hit the cabin. The place was clean and rustic. The wooden counter was beautiful.

Very spacious cabin with in close proximity of the second cleanest lake in Maine.
I will undoubtedly stay here again.

Small cabin with everything you need expect dish cloths and dish towels. Had a hard time finding where to go to get to the water. Mix up with time a check in....

Carlton’s place was perfect for a quick get away. Hosts were very helpful when I requested them to add an extra day to our stay. Definitely recommend and will most certainly stay again! Thanks

My family and I rented this house to ski at Sugarloaf and see the total eclipse in April 2024. The house was perfect for our purposes. The house is in a community with shared spaces and is a 40 minute drive to the mountain. We enjoyed the communal fire pit and made friends with neighbors. Note that in order to get into the bedroom with the full size bed, you will have to walk through the bedroom with the bunk beds. Loved our stay!

The host was very accommodating and easy to get a hold of when needed. This is a seasonal cabin and needed to be opened and aired out much earlier than our arrival. The cabin was well cleaned and stocked with the necessities. Pest control should be a priority especially during the colder months when left unoccupied.

Overall the location of the cabin was amazing. Amazing views. The size of the cabin was just perfect for what we needed. Things to improve would be to have someone come in and clean before guests arrive. There were a lot of spiders and we had a mouse that visited with us. He had left poop in a lot of places in the cabin. Another suggestion would be to have dehumidifiers. Every night when going to bed the beds were extremely damp to the point of almost not being able to sleep in them.

This camp is nice with plenty of open area for family to gather. The Beds were very comfortable, the deck is large and great for gathering (we played cornhole on the deck). It is a little walk to the water, not bad but if you want to be able to see your boat, fishing gear etc. it isn't possible from this camp and the boat slip at the common dock is further than something you want to be making several trips to and from. Sometimes it seemed tricky being sure of what was and wasn't common area access. Overall a nice area and a quiet little community. The owner was very pleasant and communicaton was good! Thank you!

Lovely camp, amazing countertops and plenty of space for the whole family. Unfortunately the camp is a duplex and the outside space is in full view of your neighbors. The beach is lovely but a bit far from the cabin. The shared area ls are nice but the shared fire pit was full of leaves and grass cuttings so it was unusable, our kids were pretty disappointed that we couldn’t have a fire and make s’mores.

Carlton was very flexible and responsive. The stay was exactly what we needed for a few days away with our sons. Our oldest 2 enjoyed golfing close by while the youngest spent time fishing. Embden Pond and this camp are both recommended by our family!

We really enjoyed our stay. The owner was quick to respond and very helpful. The cabin was clean, spacious and well-stocked. We had a bit of trouble at first trying to find the small beach on the pond but once Carlton, the owner, directed us we had a good time swimming. There's a really nice wrap-around deck with a grill and table for outdoor dining. I would definitely recommend the cabin and the area. Very nice!!

Awesome place, pictures do not do this place justice! It’s way more updated than it appears.
There are AC units so it’s very cool, walking down to the water was great, not a far walk at all. It was beautiful the neighbors were awesome. Town was awesome. Walmart is about 30 mins away 18 mins for a supermarket which ia great!!!
We bbq a lot, it was very spacious and such a great day!!
Place was clean and neat, however, there were a few cobwebs in the bathroom and room, so maybe a quick pass through before the guest arrive would be best. I know we were on a camp ground so bugs are just going to be around.
Other than that, it was an awesome stay, beautiful location and the property manager was great at communicating and updating me on what to do! Will be back

Carlton was great, very responsive when I called the first night about finding the members access beach. The camp was peaceful, clean, and had so much charm. We have 3 boys who had a blast and did not want to leave! Highly recommend!

I rented the cabin for a family vacation and we couldn't have asked for any better! The cabin was everything we hoped it would be. We had fun swimming in the lake and relaxing in the cabin, can't beat it!

The cottage was spacious, with plenty of room for everyone at the table, inside or out on the deck. The furniture was comfortable and kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware. There was even a potato masher! The only downside is it's not convenient to taking kayaks to the water. But when you get there the water views are great :)

We loved the camp but thought it would be much closer to the lake. Also the WiFi info shown on Vrbo was not what was actually there. Carlton was very quick to answer any of our questions.

It stated that dogs are not allowed on the beach. Previous to this, I received guidelines for my stay that said nothing of this. We stayed at the cabin with the dog, which is at least 300 yards away from the lake and surrounded by other cabins. Not a place for peace and quiet. Great place if you wanna be shoulder to shoulder with strangers. 😑 Charlton was kind enough to refund one night of our two night stay.
