Mattresses were a bit uncomfortable.

The location was great and the waterfront was just what we were after. The carpets were clean and the bathroom, kitchen and toilet facilities were fine. The real estate people (Kathy) were great and very understanding when feedback was provided. They got onto repairs for us but we were on holidays and the substantial issues spoilt it for us. We have rented many properties along the coast in the past and never had so many issues.

One bedroom smelt so bad we had to close it off to the rest of the house from the first day. Wharf was in disrepair and dangerous. Screen sliding door came off hinges onto us and squealed badly. Garage and side yard were full of rubbish. Outdoor table covered in grime and mold. BBQ filthy. Light fittings had missing globes. Clothes line has a tree branch growing through it and was located under tree so washing got covered in bird crap. Sliding doors covered in some kind of zinc cream from previous children. Bedside lamps did not work. Lounge had badly peeling vinyl which was all over the floor. Was replaced on our last day but the delivery people left it in the wrapping & unassembled. A repair man had to unwrap it and attach the legs and take away the substantial wrapping. On our very last afternoon in the property he also spent over 2 hours fixing the doors that did not slide, the wharf, the lights, the bathroom door which scraped across the floor, etc. He was great. Keep him please. Lawns were not mowed until our 3rd day and was a poor job with grass clippings everywhere. This could be a great property with much better maintenance and an update.
