Clean and good position. Staffs are nice.

The price/performance ratio is very low, probably because of the sharp increase in hotel prices during the peak tourist season. Second, the hotel is actually not as big and high-end as it is in the pictures. It may have been brilliant but now it is obvious that the various facilities are old and small. The safe box in the room needs to be charged separately, 15 euros per day. This is the first time I have encountered this situation in my life. I can't understand that as a four-star hotel, it is so stingy. The three-in-one washing gel is really unusable, it's too cheap, and the hotel wants to save money too much. There are few varieties of breakfast, but the taste is okay.

A very good breakfast is served every morning from 7:00-10:30 AM. You may enjoy eating your breakfast inside or outside near the swimming pool

The indoor swimming pool wasn't working as there was no SPA with warm water. The bathroom in my room was not very clean as was expected. There was a problem with the shower's hot water as well.

Outdoor pool freezing (but that's normal for Portugal), Indoor pool is okay but super chlorinated (strong smell), the outdoor leisure/pool area feels kind of 'tight' because the hotel buildings surround the area, the photo makes it seem more open, hotel may attract a boozy crowd thanks to it being optionally all-inclusive

The breakfast was good with a large variety of fruits and cooked foods

our room 518 junior suite was next to the lift, it was very noisy all day&night. and the kids found it very hard to sleep . This is my only negative comment.

The diversity and quality of food.

It is simply inconceivable that a hotel from the Vila Gale chain presents itself in such a manner: . Lack of cleanliness: lint in the hallways, a varanda that wasn't clean during our stay, etc. . Non-functioning elevators for the duration of full stay, which for a family with baby and stroller, it wasn't an easy stay. . Lack of coordination within the restaurant leading to a messy place (tables that take too long to be prepared; some other tables clean, but chairs weren't clean, etc. . Completely overcrowded pool area: so many deck chairs that circulating around the space is a challenge. I could go on, but not worth talking about cockroaches in the inner pool locker rooms...

Food was ok and room size. Pool area is good. Free parking on site.

1. Air conditioner did not work in the room, after insisting for compensation, received lunch included for the stay. 2. Elevator did not work halft of the stay. 5th floor with a small child. 3. Room service cleaning room only specific hours when my child was sleeping. Needed to fight to get a room cleaned, stayed for 8 nights. 4. General service not with a smile. Managers try to support, but too little and not experienced personell in the hotel.

loved the family room, however, not very small children friendly as there are two flights of stairs not big flights but a lot taking the buggy up and down

air con stopped working and drains started smell my this all happened 3 days before we were due to leave

The staff isnt well trained, and not very accomodating. Except the reception staff, no one is well trained for the job - a big language barrier. Hard to convey your needs. False advertisement about turkish bath. No steam and sauna for a 4 star hotel. Gym is very small with limited equipment

Sometimes not enough reception staff

A great, varied spread at breakfast. Extremely friendly and accommodating staff throughout. Clean outdoor and indoor pools at a good temperature. Comfortable and well-equipped rooms.

Some of the equipment in the gym was out of action.
