De locatie, superschone kamers, prachtige sauna & mooi indoor zwembad.

Het was veel te warm in de kamer, maar er is geen airco of een ventilator om daar iets aan te doen. Wij hadden een kamer aan de voorzijde van het hotel. De schoorsteen voor de keuken zat zo dicht bij ons balkon dat de kamer naar eten rook als we de deuren open hadden staan. Onze kamer grenste ook aan de kant van de kerk. De kerkklok luidt elke dag om 06:00 's ochtends voorafgaand door een hysterisch riedeltje. Duurt alles bij elkaar een minuut of 3 waardoor wij (ondanks oordoppen) elke ochtend verplicht om 0600 klaarwakker waren. Het ontbijt was veel kariger dan vorig jaar. De keuze was matig voor de prijs die je per nacht betaald. Om 9 uur (ontbijt is tot 10:30) was er al veel.op en er werd niet ongevraagd bijgevuld. Al met niet de bijna 500 euro (!) voor 2 nachten waard.

This was an amazing hotel. The lobby was super spacious with inviting areas to relax in. The front desk people were extremely helpful, answering all of my questions, proving stamps, towels, whatever I needed. My room was plenty spacious snd had a fabulous little balcony from which I could watch the sunset and the storms rolling in. The pool was fantastic, with a great view of the mountains and a clean shower room. It was such a refreshing way to cool off after a day of hiking. The breakfast was plentiful and staff very attentive. The location was superb - easy walking distance to the train and the old town with all the restaurants and quaint shops were right out the back entrance. I had been traveling in Germany / Austria for over 7 weeks and this was, by far, the best accommodation and price. I did not want to leave.

I had a room with a balcony that faced the mountains. The hotel is located right at the historic old town. The room was quiet. There were comfortable chairs in the lobby where you could linger and relax. Breakfast was provided and there was a good selection. I thought the price was very good. I loved the town of Mittenwald

I wanted to stay longer

centrally located and a 5 minute walk from the train station

could be upgraded with lighter furniture

Breakfast was sumptuous. Location is perfect.

No electric kettle and sachet of drinks inside the room!

The hotel has an entrance on the main pedestrian street and runs back to the main entrance and car park on the street behind. Ample free parking is a big bonus and lots of food places and small supermarkets nearby. The single room I was in was large with en-suite shower/toilet. The fittings are elegant and plenty of storage/seating. I had a small balcony looking over the town to the mountains. WIFI is reasonable, good enough to stream shows.

I expected better facilities, very small sauna and small pool. Breakfast OK but nothing special. Interior is quite dark but maybe didn't help that it was off season.
