Clean room, walkable distance to U bahn station

Nothing in particular

Great location for the Olympic Stadium in the west and Berlin centre in the East.

All was good.

The staff is perfect, rooms are very spacious and well done.

The beds were not the best.

Fiendly reception opened 24 hours placed on 6th floor, there is a lift. They speak Deutsch, English, Russian. I had a big room vish big window. It was a good heating. And all I needed to take a shower.

The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The feather pillow was a nice touch, as it is what I use at home. The buffet breakfast was excellent for as long as it lasted (see next question). The U-2 subway was a short walk down the block, and 4-5 stops to central Berlin.

The wi-fi signal was weak and the connection spotty. Sometimes I had to move around the room or even into the hallway to establish a connection. Breakfast was unavailable after 3 of 9 nights, and no explanation was given.

Good location, easy to reach by public transport. Rooms were big, looked clean and beds were comfortable. We could leave our luggage at the hotel before heading to the airport on our last day.

The room smelled very strongly of cigarettes smoke and chemicals. When I asked the staff about this, they insisted that smoking is prohibited. Which it is. But we saw cigarette buts outside the window on the roof, see photo. The lady at reception that I spoke to refused to do anything to rectify the situation, as we were due to leave the next day. I was disappointed in how this was dealt with. We traveled with our young daughter. So I feel that more should be done to ensure that rooms are not polluted by unhealthy smells. Also one of the staff members had dogs sitting in the lobby that barked at us. My daughter is very scared of dogs. I understand that in some situations dogs need to be taken to work. But if they bark and scare customers, they should be left in a room away from customers. The pillows were very almost non existent. Under the beds were bits of food and thick dust. These parts of the rooms were not cleaned well. There is no breakfast in the hotel, due to lack of staff. Not the fault of the hotel, but due the post covid situation. Coffee and tea facilities in the room would be nice.
