Price. Skimpy towels and cheap bathtub curtain. One piece hard pillow for two people.

Great hosts, very friendly and welcoming. We were walking Camino del Norte and they provided us with lots of helpful information.

Challenging parking conditions. No ac or fan in the room. Uninsolated walls so we could hear the other guests.

the proprietors are kind and so incredibly accommodating. we booked before asking if the pension could store our 2 bikes. We were initially told no bike storage. To cancel would cost us the full amount (summer rate). I asked if there was a solution and they came up with a totally workable plan. we kept the bikes in the small front terrace until late, then moved them interior. As others have commented, the building is old, the wooden stairs creak and you can hear others in their bathrooms. it was very quiet during the night (& I’m a very light sleeper). no complaints. I would stay here again. thank you so much for your help with the bikes & making our next night’s stay (language issue).

Location is perfect. Right in the center.

Old rooms, noisy stairs, no lift, charge for 30 min late arrival.

Right on the Camino route; the hostess/ owner offered suggestions on what to do in this small town on a Friday night + alternate Camino route for the next day with views that blew us away.

Prime location also means that you'll hear a bit of street noise at night (from the main square).

Friendly welcome

Perfect guesthouse right on the Camino. Lovely hosts who gave us great tips for the next day of walking. worth carrying on from Zarautz to Getaria because it’s an easy extra walk and gives you a good head start the next day.

accommodation and breakfast were basic but good.

The bed was too hard.

The rooms and bathrooms are very dated and small. The cost of the room for 3 people was very high, 160 Euros for one night for such an old dated place.
