The rooms are above a busy pub but the girl who showed me to my room was friendly and chatty. The rooms are small but modern.

The included breakfast was continental only, and mainly out of packages (very little fresh).

We booked a ‘superior’ room and were surprised at how very tiny it was, and were slightly put off when we found 2 half eaten chocolates on the floor. Breakfast was the big disappointment though - plastic dishes, a box or two of cereal and a couple of plastic bags of cheap sliced bread shoved on a table in the corner, with no apparent thought or care. Seemed really surprising after seeing the quality of restaurant service the night before. Just a bad day perhaps?

Accommodation & breakfast were excellent & inexpensive.

Had a front room, so some traffic noise was a bit of a nuisance, but not something the hotel can do anything about!

I arrived at the Tamworth Arms quite determined that I wasn't going to like it because my daughter, who we were visiting, changed her plans a few minutes after I'd booked the room for Saturday and Sunday. I immediately tried to change the booking to the Friday and Saturday but they wouldn't change the booking. But they would sell me the room for the Friday as well. I was furious. However, the place was really lovely and rather annoyingly, I can't fault it. The room was lovely. The shower was excellent. There was a safe and a small fridge. Tea/coffee making facilities. The beds were really comfortable. We had a curry on one of the nights and it was absolutely amazing. The stay was brilliant.

There was no shelf or unit in the bathroom so we had to put everything away in our wash bag each time and stow it on the floor. There was no information in the room about breakfast times, no menus or safety procedures. There was no cooked breakfast, which wasn't a problem for us but could be for others.

Located on the edge of Tamworth, but within easy reach of the town. Rooms with excellent amenities. Very comfortable bed and clean. Staff were helpful.

There was plenty of cereal and toast / pastries but no cooked option.

The decor is of a very high standard. The whole hotel and bar was very clean,comfortable and very welcoming. We also ate in the restaurant, the Special Grill was out of this world 🌎 😋

We were on the side of the main road which was busy until quite late. It was very warm because of the weather and we were unable to open the windows because of the noise. The air con unit was great but really loud which meant sleeping with it on difficult. However overall this did not impact on our stay too much.

The room was situated on the roadside, so it could be noisy with traffic at peak times. But quite enough at bedtime. Breakfast continental would have been better to have full English.

Hardly anything I didnt like! The rooms are not too big, but it's a pub stay and not a full scale hotel.

Lovely place...Lovely location...friendly staff. .really accommodating and warm and welcoming atmosphere for all. Free parking is always a bonus and the accommodation including parking felt secure. Short walk to the town centre and retail parks. There also seems like there is quite a few things to do within a short radius of the hotel.

If it wasn't for the fact that there wasn't a choice of a cooked breakfast I would have given them top marks. Whilst it said breakfast included I think it should state continental style. Having the choice of a good Old English Breakfast would have topped it . We had a family room and whilst I had a lovely sleep in a comfy bed the 3rd bed was really uncomfortable for my brother. I appreciate it was more than likely a sofa bed but all you could feel was really hard wood. As the 3rd bed is made up in the room I would suggest they get a mattress topper to add comfort.

The room (number 15) was overly hot and the air conditioning unit very noisy. Being at the front with a busy main road it would have been noisy opening the window. Apart from that it ticked all the boxes and I would stay again but in a different room.

Food was good

No WiFi instructions or book in the room bar area lots of swearing and shouting room outside on to a open car park and smoking area bugs squashed against wall in the room some staff good some not very friendly at all
