1. Friendly staff - most of them did not speak a English though but we got by with some French.
2. rooms were ready early (at 12 noon) which helped after our early morning flight
3. Pool had 3 wide steps so my 4 year old who can’t swim yet was so happy sitting and splashing on the steps in the pool and it was very quiet
4. only 10 rooms in property so nicer than staying in a big hotel
5. less than 10 min walk to a large, clean, air conditioned grill house restaurant La Grillardiere and a small well stocked supermarket next to it. couldn’t walk with my four year old in the day though - she couldn’t cope with the sun and heat in July.
6. v good sized rooms
1. In Marrakech if there are more than 3 of you you have to get a bigger taxi which were hard to flag down but we were able to call the driver that we arranged through the hotel for our airport transfer whenever we wanted to go somewhere
2. If steps are a problem for you this property may not be suitable - a few steps to enter through the main door and steps to 6 rooms in the first floor. steps also to go to the lower ground floor to the pool.
3. in July it was a bit hot in communal areas eg where we had breakfast though the pool was always available to cool down in!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A very peaceful and beautiful hotel with a delicious breakfast. Couldn’t recommend this place more.
Also the hotel staff were delightful.

Really welcoming staff, great facilities and great staff. The food was fantastic from the free breakfast to the ordered, local menu in the evening. I cannot rate the staff more highly. Amazing. Spoke some English and French so we got along just fine.
A fridge to keep cold drinks in the room would be really helpful.

Fantastic staff. We recommend having dinner here one evening during your stay. A fair distance from the Medina, but taxis are very reasonable.

Beautiful decor, fabulous pool experience, delicious breakfast, comfortable beds with crisp linen - Alex was fantastic in guiding us to good restaurants and helping us book tours and trips - In the madness of Marrakech this was a welcome oasis and retreat. Highly recommend the massage too. such friendly helpful staff all smiles.
absolutely nothing

The bed was comfortable, location is a bit far by walk to the main attractions but had plenty cafes, restaurants near by. Breakfast was good.
Shower in our room did not regulate temperature properly and there was no screen or curtain so water leaked all over bathroom floor and bathroom walls should be repainted.

villa amira et spa was the best choice to stay, we absolutely enjoyed our holiday, definitely recommend to everyone, it really worth it and the staff were amazing, breakfast was fantastic too and different choices, good location quiet at the night time so you can sleep well and everything close restaurants, bars, shops, Medina market, YSL museum ect…

Authentic feeling, not in the city center which made it more calm coming back to the hotel.
Matras and pillows very hard which was not nice for a relaxing holiday. We both slept very bad and had a lot of back pain. The staff is nice but is very loud during all the day (chatting, discussions, radio, even during massages), which makes relaxing (at the pool) not relaxing

Good, clean, nice pool. great to relax after our climbing trip

We booked the villa amira after reading various good reviews and did not regret it.
What an amazing little family run place in a great location.
Not far from either the gueliz or the hassle and bustle of the medina and souks
The villa is private secure clean and relaxing , with a great spa.
The staff are supper friendly and happy.
Marakesh has plenty to offer for everyone.
Gueliz is the more new part of the city whereas the medina is the more traditional area with street traders ect.
The sunset dinner excursion is a good experience, everywhere else seems to be too far to travel for what it's worth, so was not for us.
In all , had a great time especially relaxing at the villa Amira.

Great place that feels like a Mansion!
We staid one night and everything was great.
Little far from the centre

This is a wonderful place to stay in a traditionally styled Riyadh. The pool was beautiful, the staff really friendly and helpful and the dinner we booked was exceptional. It’s a really friendly, homely and calm place to come back to after the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh. I had a traditional massage in their on-site hammam which was very reasonably priced and absolutely blissful. Bathrooms and rooms were well kitted out and there were plenty of clean towels for the room and pool area. There are plenty of reasonably priced places to eat and buy water very nearby and a wonderful bakery next door with amazing cakes and breads.
A small fridge in the room would’ve been a big bonus, as would a kettle.

The hotel is nicely decorated and very clean, the pool area is a little oasis of calm in the business of Marrakech.
Our 'double bed' was two singles pushed together and could feel the gap between. My partner and I took a Massage but one of the 'masseuse' had absolutely no idea what she was doing, 10 minutes of having my belly rubbed and having my hair stroked... At checkout they incorrectly added items to our bill, and overcharged us for what we did have.

This is a wonderful spot which is in the quiet calm part of town. Staff that genuinely cared about for your stay there. We enjoyed soaking our feet in the pool each night with shisha. Traditional Moroccan breakfast served every morning which was lovely
Nothing to dislike although if you want to get to the main square or menara mall, you will need to take a taxi (which is affordable). This wasn’t a problem for us
