Family running business is the best. The owners are very friendly and helpful. Location is ok for those who doesn’t like Malia new part and it’s close to typical restaurants as well as it has an easy access towards Heraklion and Ag Nikolaos. Was very nice to stay there !

Melissa apartments are amazing, owners are brilliant and super welcoming and caring. It's more like a community there than just another place you stay at. Amazing people, lovely atmosphere and you always feel careed for and looked after. Quiet, peaceful and not far from the beach.

The hosts Elias and his father are very good people. It's so comfortable when the place is managed by this kind of people. All of others things were excellent!

Ilias is the best host I've ever had. He's incredibly friendly and eager to help. Always up for a chat with his guests in the bar as he serves them amazing drinks. By the way, he's also the owner of the place hehehe.

This is a family run business and we felt instantly like welcomed guests. The pool and the bar area are very pleasant and kids would love to spend there entire stay 😀 We would definitely recommend Melissa apartments for anyone staying in east Crete or looking for near Heraklion place to stay as we did.

Wonderful family who is running Melissas.

Very quiet setting .Big pool,not too cold, big sun deck with sun beds .We were given a bigger appartment than booked,brand new, sleeping 4 instead of two .Separate huge bedroom and dining area.Ingrid speaks fluent English and family staff always on site and happy to help. 5 minutes walk to bus stop and supermarket just around the corner. As they were going in to Agios Nicolaos next morning, they so kindly offered us a ride.Super clean and comfortable. Steps to old town.
