this was just a dream stay! as soon as you arrive you will be happy! you are truly a guest for the owners and the staff! a beautiful garden and pool, a wonderful reading room and breakfast area and super cozy spacious rooms! the location is perfect! walking distance to quadrado, the restaurants and shops. the beach in trancoso is always down the cliffs of the village and there are many options, easy reachable by walk or car, I would definitely come back to this wonderful place! thank you to the whole team of jardim das margaridas and pleAse know that you can also call it the garde of smiles! because both guests and staff are smiling all the time! The pousada has a beautiful garden , a great swimming pool and has all the basic amenities to make anyone fell comfortable. The exceptional service and welcome from the owners (Pierre and Sophie) and the two managers (Camila and Cecelia) is what makes this pousada a real Gem. In a couple of hours we were feeling already at home and talking with them as old friends . They share all their knowledge from Trancoso , helping us chose the best restaurantes and beaches to visit . One of my best experience in a hotel!

The little hill to the Quadrado can be an issue for seniors with walking issues. But this is not an issue of the pousada per se .

I want to thank the owners Pierre and Sophie and their lovely staff for the kindness and hospitality. They were very helpful with tips concerning the activities in the area and recommendations for beachclubs and restaurants. The breakfast was good and also had fresh fruit and fresh juices. The location of the Pousada was also perfect, with a walking distance to Quadrado and the beaches. The Pousada has a beautiful garden, pool and my room was lovely decorated. Very clean and comfortable. I would definitely love to come back to Pousada Jardim das Margaridas. Thank you for making my stay so wonderful 🌸

Amazing staff and property. The location is not too far from the Quadrado and a small walk to the Coqueiros and Nativos beach. I loved the engagement of the owners too. You can see they love what they are doing.

The staff was very helpful. The pool and garden was really nice as well.

The bathroom was a bit mouldy.

It’s a traditional b&b in Trancoso, with a magnificent garden and good breakfast included. Rafa is the manager and also concierge: besides being a wonderful person, was able to solve an issue very quick!

Not so close to the beach

From the moment you arrive you can feel that you are in a special environment. The place is cozy and adorable. Every corner has a special caring touch. Great treatment from the owners and the staff, who are always carrying a smile (we could feel it by their eyes, since they were all wearing masks). Their breakfast and afternoon coffee will make you feel spoiled! Definitely coming back soon!!!
