It is our second time staying at this place and again we cannot fault it. Emanuela looks after us exceptionally and she serves us with a fantastic breakfast spread with a good selection of home baked cakes as well as hams and delis. The B & B and rooms are very clean and comfortable. Rocca Di Monreale is an oasis in the middle of Palermo, after a day out in the hustle and bustle of the city, it is the best place to relax and recharge in a quite place with magnificent views.
I cannot fault it.

The owners-Manuela and her sisters—were welcoming and very helpful with any of our questions. Rooms are large.
The location is very good for going into Palermo or to Monreale.

The property is in Monreale and close to the Cathedral. The owner was a delight and breakfast included homemade preserves (Apricot & Strawberry) and other local treats.
It is exactly as advertised. nothing was not as it seems.

clean and the owners were very friendly and helpful. They even drove us up to main town centre as a difficult walk. They really went the extra mile.

The breakfast was home made cakes and pastries, jams and juice from the garden and great coffee.
The host went above and beyond sharing her family home and knowledge of the local area. A peaceful location outside the busy centre of Palermo and 5 minute drive away from Monreale with a great vibe and amazing cathedral. We will recommend to our friends and will visit again.
Nothing at all.

Very helpful, kind and friendly staff. Amazing views from both the room and the exterior terrace. The breakfast is delicious and homemade, but needs more salad options. The rooms are confortable and renewed
The rooms are not very well isolated

Not sure where to start- My wife and i were treated like family. The daily breakfast was an amazing array of beautiful fresh local and homemade foods, to suit all tastes, (to the point where extra food was sourced by Manuela, for my wife). The room was spacious and clean. Our room lead out to the enormous terrace, which had amazing views and an excellent array of comfortable outdoor furniture where we enjoyed dinners, lunch, and drinks. The free in house parking was such an underrated luxury as it provided us the security to know that our hire car would not be damaged overnight, or even more stolen.. Rocca Di Monreale was an absolute highlight, we would highly recommend it to everyone, including our family and friends and we will definitely stay there again when next in Sicily.
Wish we could have a longer stay!

The family that owns and manages this hotel are outstanding! They were the nicest people and super accomidating. . Emanuela has a true servants heart.
This is not a stuffy, pretentious hotel, but a family friendly hotel in a natural environment filled with orange, lemon and olive trees. The patio Is immense with an outstanding view..... a place to relax with family and friends.
Bath towels were a little rough but a minor item in the big picture.

Beautiful terrace where we could have breakfast in the morning. Host was very helpful, drove us into Monreale. The rooms were clean, on the utilitarian side, but that was ok, we were just there for one night.
Bathroom needs reno.

The B&B has amazing views of the mountains and the sea. It was nice to retire back in the evening in a place where it is quite and can enjoy the views after the hustle and bustle of the city.

Mattress was not very comfortable.

Large elegant rooms. We both had a room with a balcony. Stunning views of the surroundings! Bed good quality, airconditiong and comfortable shower room. Breakfast is home made and very large with all sorts of cakes and home made jams and bread. It is a family run business and they do everything to make you feel at home. There is a large garden with parking space and everything is fenced so very safe.
Nothing. You really need a car. There is a bus to Palermo quite close to the hotel and Monreale is at walking distance but everything else can only reached by car.

The breakfast was homemade and very good and the room was clearly newly reconstructed and in overall comfortable. Great shower (although with color-changing lightning, which was...unexpected.)
Free parking on property.
We had difficulty finding the B&B.
The position is advertised as "excellent" and it actually said "10 minute walk to the Duomo di Monreale". That's kind of a stretch, if not untrue. While not far from Monreale, the walk is up to a pretty steep hill and you have to walk along a very busy road (Strada Provinciale) as well as in deserted streets in residential area, and if it had been dark, I'd certainly not felt safe walking it. We walk pretty fast and it took us around 20 minutes (but it was pretty hot weather, so it might be more around 15 in cooler weather for fast walkers).
The position may be "good" if you're planning on driving everywhere, but driving to Monreale is not ideal due to parking.
The hostess(?) was the only member of staff we met during our one night stay and while pleasant, she didn't seem eager to interact with us and didn't give us any tips on how to get somewhere or what to see. I wouldn't bat an eye on this in Germany, but we had a very different experience with other accomodations in Sicily, so it was a bit disappointing.
We booked a room with balcony, but we didn't have any. Not sure if it actually meant the huge terrace the hotel had, which would be great, if there was a bar or something served/to be bought in the evening to sit and enjoy the Conca d'Oro view. If there was such option, we weren't told.
There seem to be only one other room occupied, but it was right next to us and the guests were incredibly noisy during the night. The house was certainly not full so I don't get why we had to be directly next door to other guests.
The B&B itself isn't bad, and I assume it would be a different experience would there be more guests/no covid, but for us it felt like a dead end in the middle of nothing.

Room was large and clean with a comfortable bed. Nice terrace with good views if you want to have a drink. Hotel was secured with a closed gate and you can park your car inside. We were treated to a very nice breakfast with a lot of variety of homemade cakes. Staff was very friendly, they gave us good guidance of things to do for the day.
My only comment will be to have an extra pillow as we found the pillow on the thin side. Apart from this minor thing we were very happy with our stay.
