"I had a dreadful experience at the Marco Polo hotel after eating their vegetable soup in the restaurant. It caused severe diarrhea, stomach pain, spasms, and vomiting that lasted for 48 hours. My son and I were alone and when we asked for help from the reception, they refused to assist. When my son requested apple juice and herbs for me, the response was extremely poor. The lady on the phone promised to send them, but her manager rudely shouted at my son, directing us to go to the restaurant for any assistance. Overall, the lack of care and empathy displayed by the staff during this distressing situation was truly disappointing. I would caution others to be wary of dining at this establishment."

Close to ski lifts. Very romantic view from balcony. Delicious breakfast. Staff was amazing. There was a problem with WiFi the first night, the staff apologized and David from the reception suggested that I use his phone for hot spot until the issue is resolved. Ofcourse I didn’t but the level of customer service is high

For a hotel charging a premium, even getting water after 11 pm is very difficult. The resturant tries to is very unaccomodating even when they brought the wrong drinks

The hotel is located at a very nice location. They have a small park which was really good at night where you can drink coffee and enjoy the weather and view but night only.
My trip was on august and i went to gudauri for the search of cold weather but man it was hot over there. And none of the hotels at gudauri have aircon so my personal suggestion dont visit georgia in july august. Its hot like hell

I had an amazing stay at the Marco Polo Hotel in Gudauri. The staff was incredibly helpful, the hotel was clean, and the location was stunning. The reception team was kind and the food was exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable experience in Gudauri.

We liked many of the staff that work there and the location. We also enjoyed the pool although it was a little old and rusty. The staff was great with our baby and very helpful when we needed something.
Unfortunately there was a number of things that disappointed us most of them were not accurate to the description of the place. For example:
- Jacuzzi was not functional at all
-There was no Mini Bar in the room
-Our shower had drainage issue and water was flooding the whole bathroom (Room 317)
- Kamin Bar with fireplace - not functional
-No animators for the kids
-No babysitters available
-Bowling wasn’t open everyday
-The food in Soliko restaurant was not served all together, for example: I have ordered fish with french fries and the french fries arrived first and then 10 minutes later the fish arrived
