I didn't stay in this hotel,I had to cancel because I had some issues with the room I was given

The room I was given was located near a very busy street.The extreme noise and the smell of gas that was entering the room were so annoying that I couldn't sleep.I also have asthma and so much gas smell triggered my asthma. I decided to ask for free cancellation and leave ,but the receptionist wouldn't speak English so communication was almost impossible. She kept telling me that she can't refund me because booking has no refund policy. I contacted support and they told me that the policy is determined by the hotel and if they wish they can make an exception and they can refund the client.So,I felt I was lied about that. When I told the receptionist she said the owner wasn't there. I asked her to call the owner and eventually a free cancellation was given to me, but I must address the ugliness of the receptionist a behaviour as non professional and unacceptable.

Great pool, nice restaurant not too expensive and with good food. Nice breakfast (buffet)

Hotel is a bit tired and could do with a refresh and some repairs.

Great swimming pool to take a rest after a long day. Good breakfast. Parking. Good restaurant (pizza/salads).

The door to our room was not possible to lock (apartman 18). I have asked guy on the reception to help with it / let it fix but her told me that this is normal.
