The chalet's location is breathtaking, offering a spectacular view and the convenience of being just a short stroll away from the Farellones snow park. The hosts are exceptional individuals who are always on hand for a friendly conversation and impeccable suggestions regarding the weather, skiing, and the area in general. Not to mention, they serve delicious food and wine. My personal highlight was definitely the outdoor hot tub.

The bed was too soft for my personal preference. Also (not related with the propety), note that on Sundays, you must return to Santiago before 8 am or after 3 pm.

I love it ALL. I was received by the owners Dorin and Xavier, they we're just spectecular hosts. From the checkin, through the minimal details, my stay was perfect, it felt like home. the breakfast was great and custom made, also the dinner, I was asked about food preferences or allergies. We had an amazing "ofuro" and a complimentary glass of wine viewing the sunset. we were well taken care the hole time, we even received some medicines and special tea the day I got a little unwell. Dorin also gave us several tips about places to go and eat not just in Farellones but also Santiago and Valle Nevado. I cant wait to go back there and stay a little longer, planning to take my hole family. this is a must go place in Chile!

The members of staff are wonderful and very friendly - especially Dorin who goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. The free cheese and wine every night was a lovely touch, and the sunset views from the property are amazing. The rooms are warm and the beds comfortable. The location, if the snow is good, is super convenient and they offer a free shuttle to El Colorado and Valle Nevado. Sadly when we went the snow wasn't good, but we had our own car which made getting around to the national parks nearby very easy. The parking is free. The meals were simple but tasty and with a nice ambience in the dining area with a real fire etc.

Unfortunately, we just didn't feel like we got value for money in terms of the standard of the room and hotel facilities. It pains us to say this as Dorin and her team are simply wonderful, but we paid USD430 per room per night - and yes this included breakfast and dinner - but for this rate, we would expect alot more in terms of the standard of accommodation. The first room we were given was tiny - with our four bags we could barely walk around in the room. We asked to move rooms and they were very accommodating and gave us the room next door which was slightly bigger, although the bathroom was miniscule (we couldn't fit two of us in there at the same time). There were damp marks and hair stuck on the ceiling of the bathroom, and the bedroom, although clean, had a tired look about it and was nothing special. We could also hear music outside and noise from people in the hallway very clearly. There was a balcony but with no seating and we had to have the door closed alot of the time due to the smoke from the woodburner wafting into the room. We also didn't have any dressing gowns in the room. We had to move back into the tiny room for our last night. We just feel that for the amount of money that we paid, we could have stayed in a luxury hotel in Santiago AND have gone out for an amazing meal each night, and it would have probably come to less than 430 USD a night.
